I am leaving a review and staying at a single dormitory for 3,100 yen per night on weekends.Ordinary, no different from any other dormitory in Japan. It is a guest house,Those with a lot of luggage can stay in the attic living room on the first floor. You can store your suitcase under your desk.(Open type, not a structure managed by employees)The bed is on the 4th floor, up a steep flight of stairs. When you go up, you will find a kitchen/bathroom/toilet on the 3rd floor. You have to pass by to go up to the 4th floor. There is an air conditioner and a ceiling fan in the room. There are a lot of users hanging out their laundry, overallIt felt humid or stuffyEach bed had curtainsLight comes in through a small gap at the top of the curtain. Thanks to the Japanese who are noisy at dawnI woke up in the middle of my sleep and there was light pollution. For those who are sensitive to sleep, choose a guesthouse. Please avoid it.There are the boss and part-time employees at the front desk. There are a lot of guests, so even if you ask for travel-related information,The structure was not smooth for guidance and inquiries.(The part-time worker was friendly, but the boss was friendly. It was not an attitude)There is a tourist information center at Kagoshima Chuo Station. It's a 40-minute walk, so you have to use public transportation. However, unlike typical small Japanese cities,There are statues on the streets (related to the Meiji Restoration?), the port view, and Tenmonkan Street are also unique. It's worth a visit to see it at least once. There are many advantages to staying near a train station. It must be comfortable.

The owner is really unfriendly! First of all, he didn't explain the rules clearly (no English knowledge and it seemed that he didn't want to). Then in the morning he got upset because we used the toilet at 12:10 and check out is at 12. we said that we didn't know that and that we're sorry. But he was so aggressive and then kicked away my shoes with his feet.We definitely don't go there again.

This is my second time using it.Very close to the ferry terminal. If you book directly from the website, the price is much cheaper than other reservation sites.Parking lot is also available for 700 yen per night (reservation required)It faces a large road with heavy traffic during the day.

Indoor slippers are required. The slippers provided are for outdoor use only. The bed has curtains, but they're handmade and look like they're made from recycled sheets, so when you turn on the bed's reading light, the light leaks through. It's a level of concern if it's applied at night.Since it's a guest house, I think the comfort of living will change depending on the morals of the people staying there. It is not suitable for people who have never lived in a group.

I really liked it as I even saw the owner who was cleaning the bed of a person who just left which means that they seriously clean it well after someone leaves. Shower room is normally clean but not that much and doesn't have shampoos, etc. For towel, you need to pay only 200 yen. Bedrooms are clean and people you meet are nice.

The building has a 4th floor + rooftop, but there are only stairs. The inside of the hotel was large and had plenty of space. The first floor is the reception and common space (large!), the second floor is a private room, the third floor is a capsule dormitory, shower and kitchen, and the fourth floor is a dormitory for men and women. The capsule-type dormitory on the 3rd floor has a narrow opening and can be completely hidden with a curtain, giving you a great sense of privacy. It's not a wooden bunk bed, but a simple and sturdy structure that is properly installed on the wall, so it's nice that even if you toss and turn, it won't affect the person above you (or the person below you). The bed was comfortable as the mat was thick. What's even better is that it has two power sources and a USB power port. You understand quite well...So, as long as I was in my own bed, I was completely comfortable. Well, as long as you're in your own bed...

It seems cheaper to book directly. There is no elevator, so if you have large luggage, it would be a good idea to be prepared. There are only a few toilets and showers, so it's better to do it when you can.The conveyor belt sushi in front of you is delicious.A 15-minute walk will take you to a restaurant in the market that opens early in the morning.Old rental bicycle. Good level even for freeBoth checked baggage and baggage are relatively expensive.

I stayed in the girls' dormitory on the 4th floor for one night, and it was a good stay overall. When I checked in, I received my pillowcase and sheets, selected an empty bed in the dormitory, laid out my own sheets, and checked out by simply putting the sheets in the basket, so the process was easy. is.One thing that bothered me a little was that there were no toilet slippers in the toilets on any floor, so I had to use the unisex toilet barefoot (I was basically barefoot everywhere except the toilet), so I didn't want to go to the toilet as much as possible. is.Also, the road in front of the building is frequented by cars even at night, and perhaps because the building is old, when a truck passes by, the building shakes a lot, like an earthquake. Please be careful if you are sensitive to earthquakes or suffer from motion sickness. There are many favorite points, but the rooftop was especially pleasant. The cool breeze felt nice at night, and the view of Sakurajima and the sparkling sea in the morning was soothing. There are benches and tatami mats, so you can relax. Available 24 hours. It was very helpful to have a free space on the first floor and a shower that was available 24 hours a day. Also, the bunk beds in the dormitory are very stable, and even though I used the upper bunk, the bed didn't make any loud noises or shake when I moved. Each bed had two outlets and one USB port, the bed light was bright, and the curtains were highly light-blocking, so we had a very private space. There is a convenience store a few minutes walk away, and there is also a ferry pier. It was about a 10 minute walk to the restaurant in the downtown area where I had made a reservation for the night. Although the downtown area is within walking distance, the inn is not located in the downtown area, so the area around the inn was quiet and very comfortable.
