Fine basic hotel, rooms are clean and you get everyday new towels and shower gels, shampoo and conditioner. Also toothbrush toothpaste and hairbrush. The beds are okay but the pillow was flat and small (only 1) not really bothering me but could be better. For Breakfast i recommend the cafe (at the corner) 2 doors next of the hotel.

I chose this hotel as it's within walking distance of Shibuya station. It's about 15 minutes maximum. If you're walking to the hotel from the station, you will need to cross the road by an overhead walkway. I found it difficult as I couldn't carry my heavy luggage up and down the steps over the walkway. The hotel is dated but is clean. There are no food options except for coffee offered at the front desk. They do offer a daily complimentary bottle of water. There is an eatery next to the hotel. There are steps leading to the front door & if you have heavy luggage, it can be a challenge. The staff will gladly help. There are no TVs and free Wifi is available. There’s a small fridge to keep food & drinks which you need to turn on. I felt safe in this area of town. If you're looking for something basic and don't expect to spend a lot of time in your room, this is suitable.

It feels like a slightly retro hotel. The front staff was very responsive. You will receive a bottle of water as a welcome drink. I arrived a little earlier than scheduled, so I was planning to leave my luggage and take a walk outside, but my room was ready so I was able to check in early. I had no sense of direction, so I got a little lost until I got to the hotel, so I was grateful. Although the room looked old, I was able to relax in the clean and well-cleaned room. This is a retro, chic, cute and stylish room. Stayed for a live performance. I plan to use it again. There is a convenience store a short walk away.

Non-guests can only enter up to the entrance. Please note that stopping by is strictly prohibited. It is located near Kongozaka after going up the Shibuya Post Office from Shibuya Station. The name of the hotel says "Aoyama," but as a Tokyo native and resident of Shibuya, this is not Aoyama (lol). The address of this hotel is Shibuya 2-chome, Shibuya-ku. Aoyama is within Minato Ward. I would like to know why they call themselves Aoyama even though it is located in Shibuya 2-chome (lol). There is no particular name for this area, and if I had to guess, it would be ``Shibuya.''From a local's point of view, it's selfish to name a place, but I often say with a wry smile that I named this place ``Aoyama.'' I don't want people to use the Aoyama brand without permission.Visitors will be confused. There are certainly few hotels in the 20,000 yen range in Shibuya, but I don't like strangely decorative designs, so if they're in the same price range, JR East Mets Hotel is more functional and easier for me to use.It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to walk from the station considering the slope. Kongozaka is quite steep, so it may be difficult for elderly people or people with strollers. Please note that it is further away on foot than you think.

Hotel about 15 minutes from Shibuya and a little more from Omote-sando, so it offers an excellent location. …
