It costs about $2,000 per person per night. The hot water is hot enough and the accommodation experience is average. The heating is very warm and comfortable. I slept well with the heating on. The room is large and the luggage can be opened. There are supermarkets, ramen and izakaya that open late. , close to the subway and very convenient.During my stay, the alarm bell rang loudly. Not long after it went off, I went down the stairs and saw all the tenants downstairs who didn't know what was going on. Later, I messaged the landlord privately, and he told me that someone would come to check on him tomorrow. This should not be the way it was handled. , and later it was discovered that a tenant pressed it by mistake (*the elevator button was very close to the fire alarm bell), and the farce ended. There happened to be an earthquake in Japan this time. Living on the 7th floor was quite shaken, but nothing happened. Everything really happened. It can be regarded as a very special memory of travel.I am more worried about safety issues. Outsiders can go directly to the upper floors from the spiral staircase next to it. If you want to stay at ease, it is recommended to find an accommodation with a 24-hour front desk.

First thing to know is that this is in the style of a self serviced apartment. There is NO front desk person at all, all day long.No public restrooms. No bag check. You need to get your room key yourself from the locker. So, if you are capable of doing without the human assistance, you’ll be ok. Help is available by line/whatsapp.This all said, the stay here is quite reasonable for the price.Location is good, walking distance to a lot of restaurants and garden. Grocery next door is clutch. The small kitchenette is useful.Everything was cleaned well.Very efficient use of the space and apartment. Has everything you need even though small.Even has washing machine (can hang clothes dry in the bathroom).Beds are so so in comfort (ikea level). But for the price, it’s quite good!I would recommend staying if on a budget!

I used one towel for 2 days and 1 night, and one towel for 9 days and 8 nights. It's the worst. I contacted the host to say there weren't enough towels, and they told me to wash them and use them. The towels didn't dry properly and were full of a sour smell. It's not even 5 minutes away from Shinjuku. It takes 20 minutes on foot and 5-10 minutes by taxi.

Hotel Shu is well located, the hostess was always easy to reach and helpful. However, the pictures do not correspond to the actual furnishings; the pictures showed bedside tables that were not there. The beds also didn't correspond to the pictures and the mattress was also a bit uncomfortable. The balcony is extremely small and hardly any sunlight enters the room. At least most of the room was clean.
