The Hotel Vista is excellent for its location and the service offered. You are in the center of Ginza, a very beautiful and elegant neighborhood, with all department stores. Furthermore, there is the most famous market in the city just a stone's throw away, which is also a recommended stop. The staff is attentive and helpful, I asked for an extra blanket and in less than 5 minutes I had it available. The breakfast buffet is good, offering a good selection and choice of sweet and savory options. Among the services there is also the possibility of having tea and coffee 24 hours a day at the vending machine at the entrance. New washer-dryers, the status of which can be checked from the TV in the room, without having to go there to check their availability. The rooms are a bit small, we had difficulty opening large bags but then we discovered that almost all of them are like that in Japan, at least in the big cities. However, the rooms are always clean and the towels are changed every day.

Place was beautiful, a bit more expensive as it's right next to a touristy place in Ginza/Tsukiji.We stayed in room 411 and found the room layout a bit awkward as the sink, toilet, and shower were all separated. The layout was also annoying for medium-large suitcases and baggage as there was little open ground space to have these open. This made getting ready for 2 people a bit of a chore. That being said, the place is beautiful, clean, well located, and quite affordable, considering everything above. Staff were also delightful and spoke good English. Will definitely recommend for tourists.

The twin beds were good, but the service was poor and the bedding was damp.

I stayed here for several nights because I had plans to see plays at the Enbujo and Hibiya theaters every day. Hibiya is also within walking distance if you're feeling well, and it was convenient to be able to take a bus from the main street directly to Tokyo Station after checking out.The room was compact but very clean, and I found the table surprisingly easy to use.

Very very very nice staff. The lobby is a bit cold, especially when you come from outside (30°C). But otherwise we enjoyed spending the week here.

Close proximity to Tsukiji fish market. Rooms were clean. Room service only includes towel swap and cleaning must be requested. Staff was helpful with problems I had with the coin laundry.

So after 2 weeks of traveling Japan it is completely perfect for the normal tourist. It is quite well located, has everything you need and has good working washing machines. The latter were not available in all hotels before and were very deficient. If you travel with a light suitcase and take few clothes with you, perfect for washing. The staff, even though I had only had little contact so far, were very nice and helpful. If you travel light and need a good springboard in Tokyo, I can recommend the hotel.I can't confirm the reviews about poor cleanliness. The hotel is probably showing its age in some places but from what I've seen it's not dirty.
