Booked this hotel due to a mixup on my end, and needed a place to stay for one night. We stayed in a single room, twin beds. The staff are incredibly helpful, and were very nice, accommodating and patient with the many questions I had, including: holding our luggage until check-in at 2pm, if they had an extra pillow available, a weight to check if my luggage was over and, most important of all, arranging a taxi for us to get to Narita (my flight was too early to get to the airport within a comfortable amount of time on the Keisei Skyliner). The rooms are simple but functional, and the bed and blanket was comfy. Loved the little duck that greeted us! The room felt way bigger than the one I had booked at an APA Hotel not too far away.Location is great to head to Ueno Station, which connects practically everywhere. The only thing that I noticed that could use improvement is that our shower curtain had very visible black mould on it, and might need to be replaced (hence the 3 stars on the room).

1. For Tokyo, the space is quite large, and the suitcases can be spread out.2. The room is brightly lit3. The neatness is not satisfactory.4.Beside Ueno, the surrounding environment is quiet

I used a single room, and although it was a bit small, it was neat and the bathroom was clean, so it was suitable for a woman alone (if your suitcase is larger than 24 inches, it might be uncomfortable). It's about 10 minutes away from Keisei Ueno Station, so I recommend using Narita Airport.

Accommodation in the Ueno area that is very impressive. The location is good, not far from the station, about 10 minutes, not too crowded. If you return late, it's safe. The room is clean and is cleaned every day. The blanket secretly wanted it to be a little softer, keeping 2 people together without being uncomfortable. If next time you come to Tokyo Will come back to stay here again. Really convenient, there are many restaurants and convenience stores.

[English Review Below]The room is clean, seems small but is very well laid out. Make a small room feel bigger than it isThe surrounding area is calm. The building's secure entry and exit card system There is a coin-operated washing machine available for use.The walkway from Ueno Station is via a bridge where the escalator is located. After leaving the bridge Just walk across the street > go straight to the corner > turn left > go straight a little and you'll see it.Check in at Ueno urban hotel first, then go to the Annex building. If I go to Ueno, I will definitely sleep here again. There is also a remote controlled air conditioner.————————-I’d say this hotel is a high quality hotel! Our room was very clean. I’ve encountered the maid and she’s a very nice and friendly granny.(not speaking English tho but not a male maid for sure)The way they organized the furniture is top notch minimalistic even thought the room have quite a small number of square meters. We have a nice walking circulation space within the room. They organized it better than most 13ft room in Shinjuku. They also have coin operated laundry /drying machines as well if you want to pack light and wash your clothes here. The location is closed to Ueno station(there’s a little portal bridge that’ll let you walk out of Ueno station and the hotel itself is not very far from that portal)Btw, Check-in at Ueno Urban Hotel to receive a card to Annex building. They'll leave a rubber duck as a welcome gift as well. ;)This is by far the best hotel experience I’ve had in Tokyo.

The room is clean and tidy. Surprisingly the room is not very small. It's good enough to have light computer works inside the room.Although the check in and out are self service, but the front desk staff were still very nice.

The service attitude of the receptionist is the worst in Japan, including the man who checked in and the woman who checked out.
