Make a reservation at a discounted price on the Klook website or KKday website, take the Skyliner train from Narita Airport underground station, arrive at the last stop, Keisei Ueno Station, in 40 minutes, take the escalator and immediately turn left as soon as you come out of the entrance. Continue straight and the hotel is right next to Wendy's Hamburger at the end of JR Ueno Station. It is a city hotel that can be reached in 4 minutes on foot from the Skyliner train platform. If you take the train and subway from the train ticket gate of JR Ueno Station, which is located right in front of the hotel and a 1-minute walk from the hotel entrance, you can go to Akihabara, Asakusa, Tokyo Station, Ginza, Roppongi, Shibuya, Shinjuku, Shin-Okubo and Harajuku in 5 to 30 minutes. There is a convenience store and various restaurants and shops next to the hotel, and there is 'Ameyoko Market' and 'Ueno Park', which are like Namdaemun Market in Seoul, so it is great for taking a walk. The hotel staff were friendly, and like a Japanese business hotel, the interior was small but had everything you needed. There is also a 'Don't need my room cleaned' sign, so you can put that sign on the door of the room and put out the used towels and gowns, the plastic bag containing trash from the trash can, and the empty PET bottles after drinking, and you will be given new towels and toothpaste the next day. Toothbrush, razor, soap, green tea, tea bag, coffee bean, and coffee beans. The best thing was that I could put the plastic bag of the trash can in the bag and hang it on the door handle of the room and choose not to come in to clean. If you make a reservation for the next day's breakfast at the hotel front desk for 1,430 yen (12,500 won at the exchange rate at the time of your stay), you will get a breakfast consisting of rice, miso soup, grilled salmon, 7 side dishes, juice, green tea, and coffee at the hotel's basement restaurant. It was a truly delicious Japanese home-style meal. When I travel abroad, I sometimes want to eat Korean food. If I type ‘Marukin Ueno’ on Google Maps, ‘Marukin Handmade Kimchi Shop’ appears, and in 5 minutes on foot I arrive at the ‘Marukin Food Store’ run by Koreans living in Japan. There are all kinds of Korean food, including Korean snacks, ramen, kimchi, salted fish, side dishes, beer, and makgeolli, and it was also nice that there were Korean restaurants next to them, such as Daemun Kyungsung Gyeonggi, Masan Restaurant, Haeunji, and SEOUL.

1 minute walk from JR Ueno Station Asakusa Exit. 🅿️NoRecommended as a base for sightseeing around Ueno. There are many restaurants, so you won't have to worry about having a late dinner. There is a main building and a new building. There was also a small book corner. It's decorated with flowers. It has the atmosphere of a business hotel. What surprised me the most was the huge goldfish😳!! ️I feel like I'm going to cry "Hogee~"...It's hard to make it this big. I'm sure they must be good employees😆.

It was nice that it was really close to Ueno Station, but the inconvenience was thatYou have to return your key every time you leave. The back entrance of the hotel is open as it is shared with the restaurant.Should I return the items I went out for a while and come back?I also had doubtsI don't know why, but I paid 100 yen when I first checked in... but the staff was very friendly. The location is really great!!

Convenient as it is quite close to the station. The room is not as small as I expected. There are no directions to the rooms in the hallway, so it's hard to tell where the rooms are at first glance. The receptionist was nice.

The location was good near the station. There are quite a few restaurants and convenience stores.I was concerned about the smell throughout the hotel (main building). It was a non-smoking room and there was no smell of cigarettes, but the room had a strong smell. The unit bath smells even worse. The smell of sewage was so strong that it was unbearable. Her hair was also falling. I tried running water for a long time to deal with the smell, but it didn't work at all. Most of all, I was disappointed in the bedding. There were a lot of pilling on the sheets and they felt terrible to the touch. It's so bad I can't stand it. This is my first time and I won't be using it again.
