I used it last November. The inside of the building is kept very clean. The room had all the necessary facilities and was very comfortable. Also, due to my inadequacies,I left something in my room.I was very grateful for the response that followed.I would like to take this opportunity to thank you.I would definitely use it again when staying in Shinjuku.

A simple accommodation in former Doya Street. The toilet smells. No washlet. Japanese style only. There are ticks in the room. It gets itchy.

The toilets are Japanese-style, the baths require reservations, there is a curfew, and the amenities are lacking.I would like to use it againThere is no WiFi connection at all, and the room is not clean. This was my first experience in a hotel that didn't have tissues. If I had to say anything, it would just be a good location.

Cheap, but unfortunately when I returned late at night, the baths weren't open until 11:30.

Used in April 2023: 4,000 yenWhen I used it more than 20 years ago, it was 4,000 yen.I can't believe it's located just 5 minutes walk from Shinjuku Station.Time stands still in this areaIt seems unlikely that there will be any redevelopment as there are apartment buildings that are eaten by insects.I guess I didn't get attacked by bedbugs. The service was good and they did their best to clean. However, there is a bit of a smell from the communal toilet...There's nothing wrong with people who are used to cheap hotels in Southeast Asia, but those who don't enjoy this situation and want cleanliness should not stay here.I squatted down to relieve myself for the first time in several years.

The owner's father was a very kind and kind person! Baths are available by reservation, but after checking in, your father will kindly ask you to take a bath. Thank you very much for asking me, calling me when it was time to make a reservation, and lending me the hair dryer 🙇‍♀️If I have another chance, I will let you stay ☺️

Looking at the reviews, the reviews are pretty low, but I think it's enough for this price, and it's near Shinjuku Station. A certain major hotel has poor service and often lacks cleaning. I wonder if things are working properly here. The toilets, baths, etc. are shared, so if you don't like that, I don't think it's suitable for you. I think the front service was also solid. I think the room is a little small. The desk is also small. The lockers are also small.

It was small, about 5 tatami mats, but it was quite comfortable because the surroundings were quiet. The reason you say "it was" is that I started getting attacked by ticks and other small insects a few years ago, and when I thought it was something, I saw what someone had posted and thought it made sense. After being bitten by midges, I put a lot of dust mite repellent on my futon and went to bed to avoid being bitten, but this never happened before, so I'm very disappointed. The ones dropping the ☆ are small insects. If you are staying overnight, we recommend purchasing tick repellent and applying it on your futon. I've been using it so much that I can remember the face on the front desk, but I'm disappointed in this issue and would like it to be improved.Other than this, this is the perfect accommodation for those who understand the Showa era. I think the price is Showa-era (you can't stay in a private room at this price in this area).

There are bedbugs here. They hide behind bed mats, pillows, and in the shadows of the bed. When I caught it and showed it to the front desk, they gave an excuse saying, ``There are a lot of foreigners staying there.''I stayed in a Western-style room in the back corner of the second floor. I think Japanese-style rooms have their futons raised, so it might be a little safer because the corner of the room is where bed bugs hide.According to research on bed bugs, they hate light and hide in the dark, and when people turn off the lights and fall asleep, they feel the carbon dioxide from their breath and attack. Sleeping with a light on seems to prevent it to some extent, but I don't think it's possible under the futon.I will never stay again if there are bedbugs. It would be best if you weren't there.
