Looking at the previous reviews, I feel once again the importance of reviews.1. I agree that there are no advantages other than location.2. The interior space is also very narrow. However, if you are a person who comes to Japan often, I would try to understand it considering the location.3. Service is the real problem, but I tried to ignore it as much as possible, but the more I thought about it, the angrier I wrote it down.Don't expect 4 star service.Received check-out notice at 11 o'clock. However, they usually excuse it if it is less than an hour, but they called at 11:20 and informed that if it exceeds an hour, the rate will be 1,500 yen per hour. Normal 4-star hotels call 1 hour or 30 minutes in advance and notify you in advance, but they notify you without prior notice. I was late because I dozed off for a bit, so I didn't do well, so I rushed down in 15 minutes. Even when I mention prior notice, the manager, who doesn't even speak English properly, just repeats the same thing. The person helping me with Korean was friendly and asked the manager, but since he seemed to be an intern, he had no authority. Two stars because of this person. Otherwise, it's not a waste at all. 1,500 yen is about 14,000 won in Korean currency. It's not a lot of money, but it's enough to ruin the good mood of my last day in Japan. The more problematic thing is attitude. The manager said that I needed to learn basic English if I wanted to work at the hotel, and I was really offended by his cold and cold attitude towards me, as if I had committed a serious sin for being 30 minutes late.

Service is great, location is good. However this hotel is quite old. The AC unit was super dusty, the hallways are dim especially at the ends. I can hear a lot of noises from other guests and also mechanical noises from the building from inside my room. Sinks in the bathrooms aren't very clean. Overall a very dusty hotel even in the common areas. Decent price for the area I suppose. Surprised this is a 4 star hotel, don't think it should be at all.

Superb location. The Shimbashi station (Ginza line) was just a few mins walk from hotel. Main Ginza shopping belt and tons of bars & restaurants were within walking distance. However, the room & furniture are not that modern & amenities were kinda old, which was quite disappointing. Nonetheless, no regrets as it was indeed a great location for the price. Still would recommend if you’re not that fussy.

Just back from Tokyo staying at Ginza Grand Hotel. Location is great as it is within 5 minutes walk to Shimbashi subway station which also is very happening with many choices of food or snacks and shopping. Hotel staffs were very polite and helpful to my requests. There's a free drink dispenser machine in the hotel providing all sorts of hot and cold drinks all day. There's also a Family Mart on the ground floor which is of great convenience. We enjoyed our stay very much!
