I stayed here as a couple with my child who is in the first grade of elementary school. The food was delicious and the room was clean and nice. It was a day when the outside temperature exceeded 35 degrees, but it was very cool and comfortable, making it the perfect escape from the heat. It was so close to Fuji Safari Park that we were able to go on a night safari after dinner. I will definitely repeat!

I stayed here the first week of July with my wife and 5-year-old daughter as a pre-trip to Fuji Safari Park. It was my first time staying at a pension, so I was a little nervous, but it turned out to be a great stay.There are no pretentious people or buildings, and it feels very warm. It was a very hot day and I wanted to take a bath right after checking in, but she said, ``I kept the bath lukewarm.'' Thanks to you, I was able to feel refreshed.The room was simple, but it was very clean and there was nothing that made me feel uncomfortable.The menu clearly shows that each and every dish is carefully prepared. Everything was very satisfying!Specifically, the homemade smoked cheese, chicken steak, panna cotta, and coffee made by the master are truly the best.Also, although there was a time limit, we were able to freely play the piano in the hall, and my 5-year-old daughter seemed to really enjoy it. I'm really excited to come back and play again.For me, the secret point of praise is that I was able to read the manga at a leisurely pace similar to that of a manga cafe lol.Anyway, it was an inn that I would like to come back to again.The safari park is about a 5 minute drive, so you can go there first thing in the morning after your stay, which is a must-see. The day before, I think it would be a great trip for the kids if we went to Fuji Children's Country, which is about a 10 minute drive.

I stayed there for 1 night and 2 days from June 29th to 30th. In conclusion...it's awesome! Definitely a repeat stay!! The atmosphere and taste of the pension are wonderful and very relaxing. Also, to be honest, I was looking forward to the food, but my satisfaction far exceeded that hurdle♪ (both dinner and breakfast) We had an assortment of sausages in the hall in the evening, the owner's homemade smoked cheese, and a highball from the foot of Mt. Fuji. ...I couldn't get enough of it ( ´∀｀) The coffee was also excellent!!! Also, the personalities of the owner and his wife are incredibly nice, and to be honest, that alone is enough to make me decide to come back ♪ There's no limit to what you can say about something good, so I'll leave it here. (Personally, I don't see anything bad about it) This time, I wanted to eat curry and rice and talk about games (lol) I would like to visit you again (^_^)

Revisiting for the first time in 38 years. The previous owner's son, who was about 5 years old at the time, took over and became a fine owner. It was a great time to talk about the previous generation, and feel soothed by the nostalgia and the constant comfort created by the owners. The spacious rock bath is comfortable with the breeze from the window, and the hot meals and sommelier owner Haruka's house wine are also delicious. What's nice about it is that it's surrounded by fresh greenery and overlooks Mt. Fuji, and it doesn't feel like it's been around for 38 years. I would like to visit you again to wash your life!

The other day, a family of four came from Tokyo to stay with a 0-year-old and a 4-year-old. It was a pension with the best hospitality! It was such a relaxing and enjoyable stay that I thought about staying there for several nights straight away.I thought it was the best accommodation for a wide range of generations, including elderly couples, couples without children, couples like me, and even my generation.There are some disappointing comments with low ratings, but there is absolutely no restaurant or service industry in this world that will appeal to everyone. Under such circumstances, I felt that "Funwarikon" is a pension that has a high probability of making customers happy. There's no reason for the staff to pay attention to one bad review, and I wonder if there's any moral compass on the part of those who give low ratings...The food is delicious, the bar time snacks and drinks are delicious, and the books and manga are also delicious. There was so much to choose from that not only children but also adults like us could enjoy it.Also, not only the room but also the rock bath was a satisfying environment.This pension is highly recommended for families with small children as they are very considerate towards children and provide a microwave for sterilizing baby bottles.I would definitely use it again if I have the chance! thank you very much!

What a lovely cozy place

Four of us, including a 3 year old and a 5 year old, used it for a safari park. Even though I was just eating with my favorite picture book next to me, I was scolded for not bringing it with me, and in the end, the book I put next to my seat was confiscated and put away because it would get dirty. If a child is playing in the room next to the dining room, they are told not to take their eyes off them, and even though they can see the child in the next room and are not doing anything wrong, they are just reading a book. The master was trying to keep up with the disgruntled child who had taken away his favorite picture book, but the master seemed to be watching over him at all times, and was constantly checking his face, making it impossible for him to eat well or take his time. I guess the owner here has never raised small children. As mentioned in other reviews, they were too strict with younger children, which made them feel uncomfortable and ruined the trip. Wouldn't it be better to have a pension that doesn't allow children? I'll never go again

A family of 4 including 2 children used it on January 20th.I checked in around 3pm and was allowed to use the family bath a little later. The inside was spacious, and the bathtub was lined with stone, making it large enough for a family of four. I visited during the cold season, so the warm bath was very pleasant.The menu for dinner that night was appetizers, grilled fish in foil, chicken steak with cream sauce, rice, and finally dessert.Everything was delicious and the portions were just right. The chicken steak is tender and goes well with the rice. The children were also happy that the steak sauce was delicious. There was also a wide variety of alcoholic beverages, and the owner was also a sommelier, so I was very satisfied with the wines that were easy to drink.The room was large enough to accommodate 4 people and we were able to relax comfortably. The inside of the building was larger than expected from the outside, and the lounge space had a fireplace, piano, and picture books, and the children seemed excited and had a lot of fun.The next day's breakfast consisted of salads, egg dishes, and bread, all of which were delicious and I finished my meal comfortably.I stayed at this pension for a one-night trip, and it had a homely atmosphere that made my family of four very happy. This time I used it in the winter, but I would like to go again in the spring and summer seasons.Actually, due to my mistake, I ended up booking the wrong date by one day, but I am grateful to the owner for his warm hospitality and allowing me to stay there!
