A traditional Japanese style house. The room was big with bed, Japanese tatami, table with four chairs at tatami area and table with four chairs near bed area. The only inconvenience was that the shower area was shared and you have to book a time to use it. The location is not very convenient, but we hired a car, so it didn't affect us.

Spend 3 nights at this place. Big spacious room with some view of mt fuji and lots of nature. Highlight of this place is the onsen. So glad it’s private and we had two onsen to book from. Also we saw them doing cleaning of the onsen so you can bet it’s clean. Downside of the room is there is no shower in the room. The showers are attached to onsen so you have to book to shower. The heating of shower is being turn on by the owners so if you book for a really early shower you must contact the owner to ask him turn on the heater if not the shower is icy cold. The toilet in our room has a weird bidet for ladies. I don’t know maybe it’s meant for smaller butt ladies cos it hardly cleans my in front and I have to sit way back to get my front clean. Other than that service is friendly. Once the onsen was closed for cleaning and we hadn’t shower so they allow us to use their personal shower. We also had to go somewhere to take our highway bus and the bus service in the area is very lacking so as we were short of time, the owner was kind enough to send us to the bus terminal. All in all it was very relaxing especially because there is onsen. We really miss this place already.

The lawn and trees in the garden that can be seen from the window of the room are beautiful. Also, you can go out onto the wooden deck from the guest room on the first floor, and it was great to bring a bottle of wine and drink at the table at night. We had unlimited use of ice, and it was a very comfortable accommodation. The female employee doesn't seem to be very good at Japanese, but she was smiling and serving customers in a very pleasant manner.I would like to use it again.

I used it for business. There was no bathroom in the room, but there was a large private bath with an internal lock (reserve a time to enter after arrival), entertainment such as billiards in the basement, and Mt. Fuji that could be seen from the room.Personally, I was soothed by the sounds of birds and insects that I could hear when I opened the window while enjoying the scenery. (The location is one street away from Lake Yamanaka, so there is no noise from cars or anything like that.)The air is good too!

My husband and I spent 20,000 yen for a weekend stay in a Japanese-style room without meals. The room was comfortable, and as a bird lover, I was happy to see the white birch forest outside the window and the birds visiting. However, the following points are confusing.① The hostess was a Chinese girl who didn't talk much, so I couldn't communicate with her.② There was a lack of explanation about how to use the room.③ When I was soaking in the hot spring and leaning against the wall, I could see a father and son using the bath next door through the glass (not so much that I could see them, but I guess it's a good idea 💦)According to the reviews, the owner of the inn is said to be kind.

Drive to locate the Yamanakako Post Office, otherwise the location will be lost. It is difficult to reach without a car and the road is not big.The view of the garden is very good, you can see Mount FujiFeeling laid backThe soundproofing of the room is poor. People walking upstairs make a lot of noise. Light sleepers may be affected. The quilt on the double bed was too small, like a single quilt. I have to grab the quilt when I sleep at nightI booked a room for 3 people, and if I have tatami, I have to make the bed myself. The water was given in a large bottle (it felt like it was an explanation, which was very inconsiderate)There is a bath, and you can register your room number to use it, but when you see that the pool is very dirty, you don’t want to take a bath. I don’t know how long it took to clean it.There is a restaurant with a small oven and a small microwaveIt feels like many things and equipment are prepared just to have them. The quality of the equipment is very rough or average. There is no bathroom in the room and I can only take a bath in the bath. However, the brand of the equipment makes me not want to use it. Fortunately, I am prepared.

The room is spacious and comfortable, we were disappointed that the bathroom that was near our room was not operational, so we had to use the only toilet available 1 floor away and across the entire hotel. The onsen was very good.

Staying in the family room, the space is very spacious. There is a toilet in the room, a tatami living room and a bedroom, and the back balcony has an incomparable view of Mount Fuji. The hot springs attached to the B&B are also great, with a total of two private baths. Since there were only two groups of guests checking in that day, there was no need to make a reservation to use the private bath. The spring quality was good and it was very comfortable after soaking.
