History of Nishiizu Toi Onsen Aoki Calm Inn Meijikan**Hekinagi no Yado Meijikan** (Hekinaginoyado Meijikan) is a hot spring inn located in Toi Onsen, Nishiizu, and has a long history and continues to promote the charm of the area.history- **Foundation**: As the name suggests, Meijikan was founded in the Meiji period. Initially, it started as a small inn using the hot spring water of Toi Onsen.- **Development**: From the Taisho era to the Showa era, hot spring tourism became popular and the facilities expanded. The location, food, hot springs, and rooms are very good. If I had to complain, the room I arrived in was very hot. It was nice to have a great view of the ocean from the large windows, but the sunlight was making the room very hot and humid, so I didn't feel comfortable as soon as I arrived. This was the first ryokan I stayed at in Izu that didn't have air conditioning on, so I thought it would be a good idea to turn on the air conditioning before my scheduled arrival time. I didn't have to carry my baggage or be guided to my room, so I don't think the service was very high, but there was at least the necessary guidance and explanations, so it wasn't bad. Also, it's not a problem at dinner time, but at breakfast time, it's nice to have all-you-can-drink options for yourself, but the cups are small. This is no good❌. It's also bad to have to add water to your all-you-can-drink quota and go get it. Since you can get a pitcher of water at night, you should do the same with water in the morning. If you have to go get a small glass of water multiple times, the staff will have to go around each table because they are bored, and the thoughtfulness, attentiveness, and attentiveness is something I would like to see at other inns and hotels in Izu where I have stayed. I felt clearly inferior. I think the level of friendly customer service and hospitality was low, perhaps out of caution against the coronavirus.

I went there after confirming on the official website that day-trip bathing is possible, but when I told the front desk that I wanted to take a day-trip bath, I was told that day-trip bathing has been canceled since the coronavirus outbreak🙄If that's the case, you'll have to update the official website to say that day-trip bathing is canceled.I wanted people to avoid giving out incorrect information on their homepage.I chose this hotel because it was located right in front of the sea, and I thought it had a great view, but I felt very disappointed. Also, the person at the front desk said that all the hotels in the area have not been offering day-trip bathing since the coronavirus, but last year I went to the nearby Oedo Onsen Monogatari Toi Marine Hotel for a day-trip bathing. .
