I stayed at this guesthouse about a year ago, and it was a wonderful guesthouse that I still have fond memories of (I'm sorry for not being able to write a review right away). It was my first time at a guest house and I was a little nervous at first, butThe room is spacious enough for one person. The kitchen and water area are clean and easy to use.I had a lot of fun talking with the guests and the university staff in the living room with a kotatsu (?).I was kindly taken to a hot spring that was like a secret hot spring in the mountains, and I was able to rent a bicycle with assistance, so I was able to fully enjoy the wonderful city of Matsuzaki for a week.Thank you very much for the warm and fun memories.I would definitely like to visit again someday.

Great location. Close to a bus stop, foot bath and plenty of restaurants for dinner. Naoki Ito was very nice and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and the shower was spacious with nice hot water.

I was on a long ride along the entire length of the Izu Peninsula. I was planning on staying in Shimoda but everything was sold out, but I found this place. I didn't know what time I would arrive, but the host arranged everything perfectly with instruction cards, for an easy check-in. I arrived pretty late, so I never got to meet him, but thank you!The room was more than large enough to leave my stuff scattered around one half of it, with the other housing the fluffy futon. So comfy, I didn't want to get out of bed the next morning. Everything was clean and I appreciated the modern toilet. Towels downstairs, and a nice big shower. There is a large common room, and I think they even have e-bikes for rent. WiFi was good. Best of all, for a cyclist- there is a storage hut just outside the property to stash your ride safely, protected from the elements (and theft).

It feels like a guesthouse, renovated from an old private house.

The rooms are clean, the owner is kind, and there are several supermarkets within a 15-minute drive, so it's easy to cook in the kitchen. The bathroom was clean and the washing machine was free to use, which was convenient. When I stayed there, the guests were having dinner in the shared space where they could eat and drink, and the guests were interacting with each other by chatting little by little.

It's the best place for a walk in Matsuzaki town. Convenience store is also nearby. The prices are also reasonable. There is a large living room, so I think it would be a good idea to rent it out for around 10 people.

I had planned to go camping, but due to strong winds, I ended up staying overnight with a colleague from work. I made a quick reservation and checked in around 5pm. They accommodated us even though we had a short notice reservation. That helps a lot.The inn feels like a guesthouse, but it even has a covered parking lot for bikers. Of course, there is also free wifi.Every Saturday, you can enjoy Shizuoka Oden🍢, sake, and shochu at the stall at the entrance. Moreover, the oden is cheap and huge at 150 yen! (lol) It was satisfying to eat. When I went there, a young man (a good-looking man with long hair) and two young women (one beautiful and one cute) were working non-stop, and we had a good time talking, and the three hours passed in the blink of an eye.I'm sure I'll come back next time I go to Matsuzaki.
