guest house megumi is one of the loveliest places i've stayed in a while! the property is up a pretty steep hill, so i got my morning exercise climbing up and down. stayed for two nights in the dorm and the bunks were very comfortable, the curtains made for a good amount of breeze that ventilated the room well and kept me cool. the onsen was in fantastic condition and loved using it every night. the owner was so sweet and kind, old chinese man who clearly is passionate about his job and his property. we conversed in english, japanese, and mandarin, and always asked me how the room was, the facilities, even helped with my doing laundry. would definitely come back again<3 谢谢您!

I feel scared that a boss who has received negative reviews will send private messages to travelers via mailbox with a completely different attitude from those on the Internet. Fortunately, I have left the B&B, otherwise it is hard to imagine how the boss will deal with people who do not stay in his way. .After reading many negative reviews from previous guests, I think the boss never thought of reviewing the service issues, nor did he realize the error in his attitude. Aren’t the hotel toilets meant for tourists to use after they are cleaned? How could this be an excuse for us not telling us to go to the toilet? There are also etiquette requirements that are speechless. If you know so much about Japanese etiquette, why don’t you learn the Japanese spirit of service? With such a bad attitude, I think this is a hotel where only travelers who can tolerate your control can stay! No need to welcome me, I won’t come again!

The boss had a very bad attitude and made us feel very bad. At first we borrowed the toilet and didn't change our slippers because we couldn't understand Japanese. The boss was very unhappy and asked us why we didn't change our slippers. We didn't see the sign that we needed to change our slippers. Maybe we didn't change our slippers. We don't understand Japanese etiquette, but there is nothing noble about a boss who lectures travelers on their bad attitude. The worst thing is that we politely said to the boss, "Sorry, we didn't know we needed to change our slippers." The boss replied in a lecturing tone, "I can't tell you are embarrassed at all." Is this the attitude towards customers? I think the boss didn't understand his position clearly. He treated tourists with such a bad attitude. Who does business like this? It was an unforgettable experience that changed our mood from the original expectation to a very bad one.In addition, there are spiders and cockroaches in the old room. We asked people to catch them and did not change any sheets. The only thing that makes me happy is the scenery outside the window. Other than that, I can't praise anything about this B&B. If you want to have a good time, Travelers to Atami do not recommend this B&B at all.

This is recommended if you want to ruin your trip by being kicked out like a thief and forced to stay overnight even though you paid the accommodation fee (6,000 yen).Customer service is the worst.Due to the flight delay, I had no choice but to arrive at the hotel late at night. For check-in,I rang the bell and asked for the landlord, but he firmly refused. His extremely rude attitude of saying "It doesn't matter" and ignoring me is really the worst. I tried my best to explain the situation, but it was no use.In the end, I was kicked out and forced to stay up all night in front of Atami Station. Naturally, I felt unwell and the next day's trip was a mess.I have traveled to Japan more than 10 times, but this was the first time I had such a bad experience. If you want to experience something terrible, please stay!
