The hotel staff were very helpful, with staff assisting with carrying luggage to the room. After check-in, they gave a tour of the hotel and introduced the different facilities. The hotel has public hot springs as well as free-to-use private hot springs, which were comfortable and clean. Both breakfast and dinner were Japanese cuisine and tasted good. The only inconvenience was that there were quite a few staircases within the hotel.Overall, the hotel provided excellent service and amenities. The staff were attentive and the room and public areas were well-maintained. The Japanese-style meals were delicious. The only potential downside was the multiple staircases, which could be inconvenient for some guests. But the comfortable hot springs and general high quality of the hotel stay made up for this minor issue.

This is the first ryokan I’ve stayed in and it exceeded all of my expectations. The service was exceptional and every dish we had for dinner and breakfast was delicious. Our room was spacious and very comfortable. We speak minimal Japanese and found that the staff spoke enough English that we didn’t need to use Google translate once during our stay. There was nothing I would change about our stay. This was an amazing place to relax and I hope to bring friends and family here in the future.

I'm seldom willing to write a review. But Yoshiharu is so impressive and was the best on my trip. I stayed there for two nights. The dinner and breakfast were Kaiseki cuisine and amazing. They included a lot of local famous food, such as lobsters. They tasted very delicious and looked delicate. The spring was very relaxing. The staff were very friendly. Even though I could only speak limited Japanese, they were glad to communicate with me. There was a small spring under a Cherry tree. When it bloomed in early April, the scene was like heaven. If possible, I want to live there for a year.

We enjoyed our 2 days there. The food is very interesting and delicious 😋, the Japanese old lady is very friendly and cute when she tried to teach us how to eat the food in Japanese style. Their outdoor hot bath is great, there are 5 in total and 1 is under a Sakura tree🌸 . The room is comfortable too.

Extremely value for money and best ryokan experience!I was there more than a month ago and till date, I’m still dreaming about the onsen, the excellent food and the friendly people.Big shout out to the Radha who served us at the restaurant for 3 days. Radha is so sweet and warm, took great care of us and she even came to say goodbye when we checked out!Food - beyond excellent! We had full board and were there for 3 days 2 nights, we were worried about the quality of the food, but O.M.G, every single meal was so good, none of the meal was repeated! Every Kaiseki dinner has about 10-13 courses, serving the seasonal food from the region. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented.Onsen - the private onsen was awesome! Out of the 5, we enjoyed #2 and #1 the most. Didn’t have any issues with the availability throughout our stay!Location - not a busy or happening area with lots of restaurants or shops nearby, but we had a car and spent half of the time in the hotel, so it wasn’t a problem for us at all. The hotel provides free parking and can fit quite a number of cars.

Definitely a local hot spot. Rooms are a bit dated but the service and the food were exceptional. Bring Google translate if you don't speak Japanese. Try to book the room with the private bath inside. They also have semi private and public baths, first come, first serve.

Stayed in 檜の温泉半露天付客室 ラグジュアリーフロア,彩IRODORIの客室, Japanese-Western style room Luxury floor Hinoki hot spring room with semi-open-air bath "Aya" IRODORI guest room 511. Bedroom + Japanese modern room of 14.5 tatami mats, they say capacity 2 to 4 people, we were 2ppl. Spacious and comfortable renovated room. Pros: in room onsen and the 5 private onsens that you can go to during stay. Food was good. Great arrival experience, from opening of car to onsen location and room tour. Cons: not much maybe the price as it’s high season with Sakura out end of March. Wifi slow. Walls are thin, our renovated rooms already far apart perhaps old infrastructure. Slight maze to navigate around but doable. Would recommend to this type of room’s stay for sure.

We stayed here on night one of a two night trip. I had read that the hotel had 5 private hot springs that you could use whenever you wanted. True, but I did not expect them to be so nice.  …

My stay here was a treat from a friend of mine who was touring me around Japan. The goal was to experience true Japan and this was it. Yoshiharu is a jewel that seems to only be known by locals, no tourists. …
