I was able to relax for the first time in a while. The river behind is beautiful. When I took a walk in the morning, I saw a family of monkeys running along the river's electric wire.

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath (cypress wood) attached to the room. The open-air bath attached to the room is fed directly from the source. The bathtub was equipped with a heater and was adjusted to the appropriate temperature.Although the carbonated spring water wasn't as strong as the free-flowing bathtub in the large public bath, the slightly carbonated water was pleasant.Sengakukan's public bath is only an indoor bath, and there is also an open-air bath that can be reserved for free, but Yuya Onsen is a cold mineral spring, so it needs to be heated. It's heated well enough to withstand the outside temperature, so you won't notice much carbonation. If carbonated springs are heated too much, the carbon dioxide will escape, so it can't be helped. For those who want to enjoy the carbonated springs of Yuya Onsen in the open air, I think a room with an attached bath is a good option. The food is very delicious, using seasonal and local ingredients. The drinkable hot springs are also used for cooking, and my stomach felt better after eating them. What particularly impressed me about the menu was the deliciousness of the sweetfish. It is so delicious that you should try it at least once.Apparently they start using local natural products on their menus from around early September every year. The people living at the inn were fishing in the clear stream that flows behind the inn.

Thank you for taking care of my family of four. The washed sweetfish and salt-grilled sweetfish were exquisite. We were able to enjoy the welcome drink of plum juice made from the carbonated springs and the coffee after the meal, allowing us to relax and enjoy our stay. If you bring Calpis undiluted solution, you can also enjoy Calpis soda. The hot springs have lukewarm and hot water, and it was great to be able to relax in the lukewarm water almost exclusively. From the room, you can see a beautiful clear stream and green trees, and I think this is a recommended inn for those who want to enjoy a relaxing stay. The host was kind and helpful, and it was an inn that I would like to visit again. I heard that you can swim in the clear stream in front of the inn in the summer, so I thought I'd bring my swimsuit and come back next time.

I had an early summer vacation and booked a place where I could enjoy the carbonated springs. The expressway connection from Nagoya is poor, so you will have to drive a lot on public roads, which will take some time. After making a reservation, I unloaded my luggage at the inn and parked my car in the covered parking lot 80 meters in front of the hotel. The roof is quite nice. After receiving various explanations in the lobby, I was shown to my room. This time as well, I chose a place with a bath attached to the room, and I was surprised at how spacious the room itself was. However, there are two toilets and two washrooms, which is convenient. There are no vending machines in the building, so I was advised to buy beer from the liquor store next door, so I bought it. The refrigerator is small, but there are two in the room, so it's not a problem. The inside of the inn is structured so that each building is connected by a conference room, so it may be a bit difficult for people with walking disabilities. Now, about the bath, there was lukewarm water and hot water, and the lukewarm water was squishy. It may change depending on the season, but when I said it, I used it a little and my skin was covered in bubbles. Despite the temperature being about human skin temperature. It feels quite warm. I don't even need to take a hot bath. It's lukewarm, so you can take a long bath. It felt pretty good. At night, I use a ladder to connect the large bath and the bath in my room. In the morning, we enjoyed the private open-air bath and carbonated spring water in the large public bath.Meals are centered around the fruits of the mountains. Shabu-shabu, sweetfish sashimi, and salt-grilled. was delicious. I think it might have been better to order food earlier. I left Lima pretty full. The rice was delicious too. The breakfast was small and delicious, and the porridge, boiled tofu, rice, and mixed dishes were delicious.Located near the river, I was able to relax while looking at the beautiful river from the window and listening to the murmur.

Carbonated springs are good for your skin and make it smooth. We recommend the carbonated spring highball. The boiled tofu for breakfast was also melty and delicious!

2018 (Heisei 30) 3/14~3/15 (1 night and 2 days)The inn is famous for its natural carbonated springs, and at the time was a member facility of the Japan Secret Hot Springs Preservation Association (*The Japan Secret Hot Springs Preservation Association withdrew from the association in May 2024.)My wife and I are big hot spring fans and at the time we visited various hot spring facilities in the Chubu region. I had known about Sengakukan for a long time, but I had never had the chance to go, but my wife took the plunge and made a reservation for me. The building, located in a small hot spring area, is majestic and overwhelms those who see it.Once inside, you will be overwhelmed by the otherworldly atmosphere and be transported to an extraordinary world. At the hot springs, the rare natural carbonated springs soothed our fatigue, and the top-notch food was truly delicious.I'm busy right now so I can't visit you often, but I'd like to visit you again someday.
