We stayed at the end of September. This is a cabin room.On the way to the hotel, I fell off my motorcycle and broke my shoulder, so I went to Gero Onsen Hospital after seeing a doctor, so it was late at night.I was very impressed by how kind and friendly the host was.Due to a broken bone, I had to ship the luggage I had on my motorcycle from the hotel to my home, but I had someone help me with that, and it was outside of the shuttle bus hours from the hotel to the station, so could I send it to you? Thank you very much for calling me!Due to the broken bone, I couldn't see the town of Gero Onsen at all, so I went to the station to do some sightseeing on foot. The elderly couple I asked for directions along the way were kind, and the people at Gero Onsen Hospital were also kind. I fell in love with the town of Gero Onsen.I was very satisfied with the facilities at the inn, and I would definitely like to stay there again. The last image is of the separate open-air bath.Thank you very much to everyone at Gero Kanko Hotel.

It’s great to have soup in the room. The only drawback of having A5 Hida beef for dinner is $?

I think the cost performance is very good. The inn is clean and has a covered bike storage area, making it perfect for people traveling by bike.Even though I'm a clean freak myself, I don't have any resistance because it's clean.I've stayed in several accommodations of this type, but I wonder why they make them look like two-story dormitories when there's plenty of space. It would be great if they were flat, side-by-side.

The nesting cabin is not allowed to use the parking lot, so if you want to pay 1,500 yen to go to another parking lot and come here with your luggage, you can also stay at the Fujiwara or Sakura River next door.

The open-air bath in the guest room is the best.

I stayed on a capsule hotel plan.Since it was a no-car day plan, I rented a parking lot at a special parking lot and walked there, but it took about 30 minutes from Gero Station since it's halfway up the mountain.I am very satisfied with the low price and well-equipped facilities. You can't use the bathroom until 2:30am to 3:00am due to cleaning, but you can use it anytime until you check out, which is convenient.

This will be my second stay at a cabin.Apparently the effectiveness of the air conditioning differs depending on the cabin, so this time it was so hot that I couldn't sleep. It would be better if I had a small USB fan...To get to the upper cabin, you have to climb up a steel ladder, but the steps are narrow, so you have to be careful going up and down, worried about slipping or misstepping. I felt it was inconvenient and a little dangerous. As with last time, the nearest shared toilet was out of order this time as well and could not be used.Due to the above, I was unable to spend my time comfortably.Other reviews have also mentioned this dissatisfaction. However, there has been no response or reply from the hotel side. Maybe you don't care? The bath is pleasant and the inside of the building is comfortable, so I hope this will be improved.

There was a cockroach outbreak → It can't be helped. by frontI looked at the photos on the website and thought it looked amazing, so I decided to stay there. However, when I actually went there, although it looked like a high-class Japanese modern, everything was old, and the decorations in the lobby, the exposed iron doors, the bathrooms and toilets that looked like those of a business hotel, and the metal fittings that hold the decorations in place were inappropriate. We were taken to a place like an izakaya to eat, and there was no water, let alone an aperitif. The lack of elegance left a very disappointing impression. That would have been fine, but there were cockroaches in the room... It was seriously the worst. When I called the front desk, they brought me some insecticide that was running out, but they handed it over to me with no apology. Do it yourself...I couldn't sleep at all because of anxiety, and when I was taking a bath in the open-air bath in my room, I thought there was some garbage floating around, so I took a closer look... It was a cockroach. I was taking a bath with cockroaches. When I went to talk to the front desk, they apologized but said it couldn't be helped.Apparently it can't be helped. It may be inevitable in the natural world, but even though I came here for comfort, I didn't rest at all, and even though I had a guest room with an open-air bath, I couldn't enter it. Seriously give me my money back

It seems to be limited to men, but the capsules are cheap and comfortable. It's more than enough if you just take a dip in Gero's hot springs, drink outside, and sleep. There was also plenty of space to relax.

20240819The best accommodation for male travelers. It is no exaggeration to say that this is my favorite inn at the moment.I always stay in a cabin. You can stay at a hot spring inn at a great price. The bed is a so-called dormitory type. But it's comfortable, so no problem. What's also great is that you can freely use the shared lounge, large hot spring bath, and open-air bath.I will continue to use it in the future.
