Our second stay was 12 years apart from our first. Although there was no elevator, there was a lift to take your luggage up and down. Water pressure was very weak on the third floor. Other than that, this place still did its job and was busy with travellers everyday

It was just fine amenity-wise, but the noise isolation is non-existent. The guests staying in the floor above us arrived when we were already sleeping and you could hear them talking and like they were walking in heels right next to you. It also rained one of the nights and something kept making a very loud noise, like a stream of water falling on a metal plank, so I didn’t get much rest during my stay here. Wouldn’t come back.

A traditional, very nice ryokan. We booked the slightly more expensive room with a private bathroom. This was absolutely worth it! We had a pond with koi right outside our window. The staff didn't speak English, but they understood each other hand and foot. Location well located, close to the train station

The best hotel of our stay in Japan (5 hotels in total), the room is superb, it is large, there are cupboards, private toilets, the beds are so comfortable that you would think you were sleeping in a cloud. We are left a croissant and water in the room every day with green tea.The onsen is great, we loved staying in this ryokan.

It could be better, but the treatment is excellent, quite clean. The onsen is not one of the best we have been to but it is not bad.

Although we stayed without dinner, the size of the room and the atmosphere were wonderful, giving it the feel of a good inn.I guess the style has evolved to suit overseas tourists.Since there is no dinner, tourists can eat whatever they want. It's close to the old townscape and morning market, so I felt it was a very reasonable place to stay!

We spent one night and what a shame it wasn't more. A spectacular place. Twice we have gone to the onsen and twice we have had the onsen to ourselves.

Very good place to stay. The hotel has an unbeatable location, two minutes walk from the station, perfect for arriving and leaving; as well as for an excursion to Sirakawago.Check in was very simple and they stored our bags for us.The super spacious room, with a futon and everything you need, and a bathroom included. They have Onsen, somewhat old but sufficient. The attention of the workers was super good, very friendly.
