I used it during the holidays in August. The first thing to note is that the altitude is high and there are no other facilities nearby. It takes more than an hour to go shopping one way. Please be careful not to forget to buy anything. The toilet is temporary. It was washed in Japanese style. There are also Western-style toilets next to the administration building. It was well-maintained, and the women's restroom was kept fairly clean. However, those who are used to high-standard campgrounds may not like it.There is also a shower room, but the water pressure seems to be weak. There is a hot spring inn about 20 minutes from the campsite where you can take a day trip bath, so we recommend that.☆Here are the recommended points☆It was mid-August, but the temperature was at most 26 degrees Celsius. It was really cool in the morning at 16 degrees Celsius and it was a pleasant time.I had been suffering from the intense heat for days, so I was instantly relieved by the comfort. This time, I used a private site with a sink.Although there were some small leaves in the sink, it was usable without any problems. The drainage was a bit poor, perhaps because the hose was clogged with fallen leaves? I think so.The site itself didn't feel small or large. There was some variation in size depending on the location.I think it depends on the location, but site B was surrounded by tall trees and didn't receive much direct sunlight.Since it was in the mountains, I was a little worried that there might be a lot of insects...I was surprised that it was much less than I expected.I was surprised that there were no cicadas singing. Aren't there no cicadas at high altitudes? Even though it was summer, it was quiet. It seems like you can camp with your dog here, and there were lots of people with their dogs. There is also a cute French bull, Haru-kun, who is the signboard dog in the administration building. He was such a cute signboard dog that children wanted to go to the administration building to meet him.In the administration building, we also sell some salami, ham, and other foods that can be eaten just by cooking them. If you don't have enough ingredients or have forgotten them, please try using this.Salami was delicious. At night, if the sky is clear, you can see the stars beautifully. The day I used it was exactly the day of the Perseid meteor shower, and I was able to see a large shooting star. The sky at my site was covered with leaves, so I observed it in the plaza in front of the site. You can also observe the starry sky in the lawn area.I saw on Instagram that it was possible to take a walk to the waterfall, so I went there. It's quite a difficult road. I think it's best not to force yourself to go with small children. If you are bringing children with you, there is a grassy field so it would be a good idea to bring something to play with. The staff here were all very friendly and I enjoyed talking with them.I thought that many of the people who used it were doing it properly. It seems like it's celebrating its 50th anniversary, and I hope it continues to do so.I would definitely like to use it again.

I went to a campsite located at 1500m from the 8th to the 14th. I'm staying in a tent at site A. It's stress-free because there are distances between each site. It's in a forest, so it's cool and comfortable even in summer. It's cold at night. Maybe it's because it's a forest, but the sunlight isn't very good. When drying sleeping bags, etc. , there is a square with no trees. The plaza is great for looking at the starry sky, and you can even see the Milky Way with the naked eye.On the 12th and 13th, there was an outdoor live performance at night.

I used the newly created Instant House. The inside was very clean and seemed to be soundproofed, and there were mats, so it was very comfortable. The environment was comfortable and we had a great time with no wind or rain.As others have mentioned, the staff cleans the toilet frequently and it is relatively clean. It was a very nice vacation with all kinds of services provided.thank you very much.

I went camping for 3 days and 2 nights before it got crowded at the end of May! It seemed like a new white dome had been built, so I stayed there, and it was very comfortable and had good heat retention, so I was able to stay warm inside! I was a little worried because I had seen some reviews saying that the restrooms were not very clean, but when I went there they were very clean! There are a lot of bugs in the sink, but there is no other garbage, so I think it's great! The bath is only a shower, but there is also a hot spring when you get off! They have also started using tent saunas, so I was able to use the sauna and it was really nice!Is the concept of enjoying nature and camping deep in the mountains? And I loved it!The water that comes out of the tap is natural water from the mountains, so it's delicious, and the rice and coffee that we cook with it are also delicious! If it was a sunny day, you could see the starry sky from each site and square, and it purified your mind and body! The site is surrounded by trees, and if you park your car at the entrance, you can spend your time in a private space!Although there isn't much to offer, I personally think this is the perfect campsite for people who like nature, starlit skies, and authentic camping! There are no places to shop nearby, so we recommend buying some food and drinks before heading out, as well as taking insect repellent and protection against the cold! There was some food sold in the administration building, but it was a bit of a relief knowing that it would run out during the busy season! They also sell frozen meat and it was delicious! It was a campsite that I would like to go to again!

It's hard to give stars because it's a campsite, but it seems like it's a good place to start with as a pet-friendly campsite.I don't think it was fully featured on the homepage, so it was a big negative for someone like me who hates dogs. Most of the toilets are also temporary. If you're too particular about things like that, you'll probably be considered a camper's superior, but I don't like things I don't like. The fact that it's open until just before Golden Week probably means something like this, but I guess it's just about safe. I wonder if my wife doesn't want to come...

It was a very nice place where nature was the main character! You could see Mt. Norikura, and it was a real campsite in the mountains. We were the only ones in the large campsite that day, but the manager took care of us and called out to us from time to time, so we didn't feel lonely, and the weather was nice, so we were able to comfortably enjoy the great outdoors. I was able to fully enjoy it. I was very impressed with the change in management, as I could feel that they were trying to improve things little by little by repairing old equipment. It's far away so I can't go there often, but I would like to visit again to experience the majestic nature. Thank you for your help!

I used a site with a sink, and the size varied depending on the site. The site I used this time is a little impossible to use two rooms and a tarp. The toilet is a temporary toilet at the construction site, and the water for washing ran out and was not being replenished, so it was quite a problem (I won't write about it here).I also used the shower, but this may have been the only time, but the water power was at a water gun level and I had a hard time rinsing off. With this kind of equipment, it would be better to go to a nearby Muji campground. I think that's because the site was pretty empty even though it was Golden Week.I liked it as a campsite, so I would like to come back when the toilets flush. I can take a shower at a hot spring, so I'll refrain from taking a shower. I'm hoping it will wash out anyway.

Thank you for today 🙇‍♀️It was deep in the mountains, so I was a little nervous on the way, but even though I arrived around 7:30 pm, I was warmly welcomed, and when I told them I was new to camping, they said, ``Our motto is to make sure everyone has fun.'' He helped me set up the tent, and thanks to his kindness, I was able to enjoy camping!! ️It was a great first camping trip with lots of nature!I will use it again 🏕️
