My family and I traveled to kamikochi, so we chose this accommodation because it wasn't too far away. In the photo taken on 23/10/2023, it was during the autumn leaves season. It's very beautiful here. The weather is good, not too cold.Accommodation is a ryokan. There is a private onsen that can be reserved in batches. I was impressed by the food here for both dinner and breakfast. But would like to improve the room better than this. And the bathroom in the room is very old. Free parking in front of the accommodation.

Cannot recommend this place at all.- When I arrived there was no one of the staff. I arrived an hour before the checkin time. This is already weird. There was a sign telling to leave the luggage there and wait.- The place is falling apart, no maintenance at all.- The rooms smell super bad.- There were no towels in the room. When I said that to the reception the person looked at me like I was stupid. We went to the room together to check and off course there were no towels.- The lock on one of the window was broken. Anyone could have entered the room from outside. Felt unsafe.- Dinner was not fulfilling at all, I've been to other ryokans and dinner here was not enough to eat.- I did not felt the Japanese hospitality at all.- The "pijama" looks like a potato sack. The jacket you're supposed to wear is not washed. One had stains on it.- I could not have a good sleep given the super bad smell and the uncomfortable cushion.- For this bad experience I paid 200 Euro for a night of bad sleep and dinner. If you are one or two persons the price is the same. This is even weirder.- On top of all this at the checkout they tried to make me pay 2000 yen more for Hida Beef that I did not ordered.Stay away from this place. Not like in the pictures.

I made a reservation through Rakuten Travel. Thanks to the service provided by the inn, we were given a room with an indoor bath. I was very satisfied with the quietness of the room and the view. The food was delicious and very luxurious. However, since there is a large amount of meat, it may be difficult to finish the entire meal.

We had a wonderful time, in a beautiful japanese-style room. The staff were so helpful and friendly, and went above and beyond to accommodate us as vegetarians — although we had to compromise with dashi (fish stock). Make sure to notify them of this well in advance (we did 2 weeks before). The food, service, and accommodation were exceptional. It is located in a tiny village with no shops/restaurants, so be sure to stock up on snacks. The busses are hourly from a few minutes down the road, and are fairly easy to use. The valley it’s located in is beautiful. We only wish we could have stayed longer!

Thank you again for the wonderful stay.We stayed 2 nights with my family, ate and slept perfectly. The ryokan feels nostalgic and quite lost in time, in a magic way and the private onsen offers a perfect way to end the day after hiking.Special mention to the team for helping us getting back to the hotel after we lost track of time in the mountain, my mom will forever be grateful for that, as well as forever angry with us for the trek we chose.Thank you thank you ☀️🫰🏼

Ryokan with its own onsen with spacious rooms. The dinner menu is very good. The breakfast on the first day was too Japanese for what we are used to (miso soup...). The second day better. |Very friendly staff. …
