Superb Ryokan with attentive staff in a bucolic and modern setting. A culinary experience with the Shojin meal which was a first for us.  …

The atmosphere is nice. The best part was the hot springs. It was a little slippery and made my skin feel smooth. In my personal opinion, the food is not special considering the price, and since it is located in the town, you can't enjoy the scenery. It's normal.

It's a really nice inn that makes me want to come back every year. The quality of the hot springs in the open-air bath attached to the room was very good, and I took a bath many times.I will work hard so that I can go again.

It was a great inn!The inside of the building had a good old atmosphere but was well maintained, and it was lovely to see seasonal flowers decorated everywhere.I was able to enjoy the hot springs for a long time with the slimy water at various temperatures. The rice course was delicious and fun, using plenty of seasonal ingredients and incorporating local cuisine!Everyone at the inn was kind and it was a heartwarming stay. I would like to visit again in a different season. thank you very much.

It was a nice building, close to the Takayama Interchange.Mr. Nakai's customer service at the hotel was excellent. It's the same person from beginning to end, and the conversation is very thorough. He was a wonderful person. The guest room on the first floor was not very large, but the beautiful open-air bath faced a small Japanese garden, and the hot water level was adjusted so we could take a relaxing bath. The public bath was clean and there was an open-air bath as well. The hot water is extremely slippery and it's rare to find such a good hot spring.I came to eat Hida beef for dinner, and it was delicious. The total amount of dinner was just right and I was able to finish it all.Breakfast was also a carefully prepared meal and I was able to finish it all. There is coffee in the room, but I had coffee in the lobby, and the coffee in the lobby cost 700 yen per cup. There is also a souvenir shop, but I didn't buy anything. It seems like a lumberjack is involved, and the interior is mostly made of solid wood, giving you a sense of the craftsmanship of Hida. The ceiling of the guest room was completely solid wood, and the ceiling of the small room where we ate was also made of solid wood.I was able to go home satisfied with the service, food, and rooms.I would like to repeat it on another occasion.
