This time, I used it for 2 nights and 3 days with a friend for sightseeing in Hiroshima + Innoshima live.Amid concerns about the impact of Typhoon No. 10, we received a polite email from the manager in advance informing us that ``cancellations are possible due to safety concerns,'' and on the day of the event, our agent carefully explained how to use the guest house. I felt safe even using it for the first time.Unfortunately, there was some rain on the first day, so we couldn't see the night view of Onomichi because the shutters inside the guesthouse were closed, but the next day we were blessed with clear skies and we were able to see the cityscape of Onomichi and the wonderful night view. .The inside of the guest house is a space that gives you a nostalgic feeling, full of the atmosphere of a retro old folk house. On the contrary, it was a well-maintained place and a place where you could feel the warmth of the people. When I used the service, one of my fond memories was how I got to know the other guests and formed heartwarming relationships where I could say ``I'm home/welcome back'' and ``I'm coming/thank you.'' The kitchen and living room are shared spaces, so we were able to spend a relaxing time making and eating Onomichi ramen at night and talking with other guests. Inside the refrigerator, there are partitions in each room, and there is space to put drinks and food, which I felt was convenient even during a long stay. The ceiling in the room was surprisingly high, and even when I was sitting upright on the upper bunk bed in Room 2, it was high enough. Each room is fully equipped with air conditioning and has a key, so I felt that it was a safe and comfortable space to stay in.This is also stated on the website, but if you are considering using it, I would like to tell you that I personally feel that it will be more enjoyable if you consider the following two points.① Access/location to the accommodation: Since it is located halfway up the mountain, it is difficult to climb up and down if you have a large carry-on bag. The mountain terrain of Onomichi has many narrow, maze-like paths, so you may need some physical strength. If you have a lot of luggage, it may be easier to carry a larger backpack than a carry-on bag. (Due to my lack of exercise and the fact that I brought a large carry-on bag with me, I was quite short of breath...):There is no parking lot, so it is best to reserve a nearby paid parking lot in advance.:However, I would like you to experience the beauty of the scenery and the warmth of Iroha-so once! !*It is difficult to understand the elevation of the land on Google Maps, so we recommend checking the route information you receive from the administrator after making a reservation.② There are some insects.:Since it is located on the edge of a mountain, I don't think there is anything we can do about it. The thing I saw when I used it this time was a spider, so it didn't bother me. We have insect repellent spray available at the entrance, but if you are outdoors or don't like insects, I think you should consider this. This is a long post, but...Although it was a short stay of 3 days and 2 nights, I was able to spend a wonderful time with my friends. I will definitely use it again when I go to Hiroshima.
