I used it at a training camp at work. The meeting room, which was a renovated storehouse, was nice, but there were a lot of rooms, and they were all well-maintained, so I was able to relax and work anywhere. The breakfast, which served rice cooked in a clay pot, was amazing. The location is far from the city center (convenience stores are a little far away), so it may be a bit of an inconvenience, but you can spend time away from the hustle and bustle, so I think it's perfect for "adult gatherings". Masu.

One of the hometowns of Omi merchants. A quiet and modest appearance. A truly delicious place.

As someone from the Kanto region, I don't have many opportunities to go to Higashiomi City in Shiga Prefecture, but I came here for a training camp. The magnificent atmosphere and majesty of the building were even more impressive than I had heard. The training facility was well-equipped with Wi-Fi, electrical outlets, and a projector screen, making for a heated discussion in an unusual space. My personal recommendation is breakfast, and the stone pot rice and miso soup are the best. The cordial response was also wonderful, and I would like to use them again this summer.

This time, 10 people used it at a company executive training camp.It was December, so it was quite cold, but the heating and air conditioning were in place and the room was very comfortable.Because it is far from busy roads, the surroundings were quiet and I was able to concentrate on the meeting. The conference room in the storehouse was also good because voices and sounds didn't leak outside, and the earthen walls absorbed a good amount of sound. The garden was beautiful and well-kept, and it was great for a refreshing change of pace during a meeting. The breakfast was said to be the same menu that Omi merchants ate before departing on their journeys, and it was so delicious that I ended up eating way too much. I felt that the amount of rice was a little small.Although it was used by a large number of people, it was still spacious enough that it didn't feel "crowded". I thought that if you divide the room with fittings, you can divide the room into smaller pieces, so you can use it in many different ways.

I stayed at the recently newly opened NIPPONIA in Higashiomi. It is a historic Omi merchant town. Stepping through the noren curtains, you will be enveloped in an atmosphere that makes you feel as if you have traveled back in time, and the large rental building and garden will take your breath away for a while. The light shining into the room through the Taisho glass is beautiful and impressive.Nearby is Oshiro Shrine, which was the setting for Come Come Everybody, and the quietly flowing waterways and wooden walls, as well as the atmospheric townscape, are perfect for a morning stroll. It's very quiet at night, and the view of the garden lit up from the window is soothing. There was also ample training space that could be used for corporate training. The concept is ``an inn where you can take a break from business and learn about your future business,'' and the idea of connecting it to the way of life of Omi merchants and the spirit of sampo yoshi is wonderful. We would like to thank the manager and the local community for their kindness.

The Tonomura Uhei residence was a traditional building with the warmth of wood. The view of the garden from the tatami room. The cityscape seen from the mezzanine floor room. A kitchen with an okudosan and a well. It was a nostalgic and very relaxing space. The breakfast is exquisite. We enjoyed Omi rice cooked in a stove and plenty of local vegetables. It's also fun to walk around the city, visiting the Omi merchant's residence, Koseiji Temple, Oshiro Shrine, and the carp in the moat. I would also like to visit in a different season.

When I was walking around the area, I saw the noren curtains on, so I decided to take a look inside.Apparently, the former Omi merchant's mansion, which has been preserved by the local community, has been renovated into a lodging and training facility, and the day I visited, it was the opening day.I was left with a good impression of the staff who guided me carefully. The mansion itself is so amazing that I almost forgot to take a photo.I was also captivated by the beauty of the garden. It seems like you can use it in a group, so I would like to invite some friends and use it again.
