If you like traditional Japanese ryokan and food, you will love this place. The rooms and public bath were average, but the service, hospitality, and small Japanese garden and entrance area made it a great place to stay. The constant attention and assistance in finding places to go and things to do was invaluable. Great dishes are created using locally sourced ingredients and flavours, exquisitely served on locally made ceramics. It was elegantly served in a private dining room. I especially liked the sukiyaki dinner. Thank you for your wonderful stay despite Typhoon No.7. If you love traditional Japanese inns and food you'll love this place! While the rooms and communal baths are average, the service, hospitality, small Japanese garden and entrance area make it an excellent place to stay. The perstnal attention and assistance in finding places to go and things to do was invaluabe. The excellent food, showcasing local produce and flavors, was served exquisitely on a locally crafted pottery. It was elegantly served in private dining room. We especially loved the Sukiyaki dinner. Thank you for a lovely stay is spite of typhoon 7.

I went to Shigaraki to make pottery to commemorate my 20th wedding anniversary.I went to Ogawa-tei, which had my first Shigaraki and was close to the pottery making place. When we arrived, there was a previous customer, but when we called out to them, they didn't respond and they didn't take care of us.The room was old, and it was a little disappointing that it was difficult to explain things in the room and adjust meal times. but…The hot springs were great and the food was great! !It was a Kaiseki meal, but everything was stylish with Shigaraki ware. Please explain each item in detail. As you would expect from a culinary inn, everything was delicious.Mr. Nakai, who explained about sake, had a fun and interesting conversation, and it was a great memory.I'm going to Shigaraki in October when the pottery is fired.I would also like to stay overnight and have a delicious meal.

All I can say is that I'm disappointed. My aunt and her husband were coming from far away, so I made a reservation because it was a reasonably priced inn with natural hot springs and cuisine. The room was spacious with two 8-tatami and 6-tatami mats, but it was old, and the bath, toilet, and washroom were all in the same space, making it look like a small single-person apartment.Although it says "unit bath" in the description, "unit bath" does not mean that the bath and toilet are the same, so I think they should rewrite it now. There's not even a hair dryer.I was looking forward to it because it was a cooking inn, but all the dishes were Shigaraki ware, which was good, but the food was small and not tasty.I applied for nationwide travel support on her behalf, but she apparently explained that the electronic coupons could only be used at hotels, so she used all of them at hotels. The employee's attitude was also not good, and he said that he was more satisfied in all aspects at the business hotel he stayed at afterwards.I'm not a person who usually says negative things like this, so I think it's a big deal.Really disappointing.
