After payment fee of hotel by bending machine with registration room key and recipt, problem has been happened in next day.Evening of next day, staff of hotel suddenly called me and they claimed me that due to failure of bending machine,it seems every paied cash has been returned , so reimbursement should be required. For making sure of the process of my payment by showing surveillance camera, it is not sure that the every money has been returned.(And, because I have slightly huge money in purse, I've not confirmed detail of return charges in then.)So, because there's no other way, so I paid to hotel again by hand.*But, I have no idea, why the claims have been happened after payment process with issuing card and recipt. And after payment fee again, they called me at midnight, that the mis-payment has been happened again.I think they have very loose conscious of handing money and no mind of the caring customer.I have been treated like as criminal person until re-payment fee again in spite of causing mistakes "by" hotel themselves.Such a no polite hotel, I have never been met so much my life in asia.If you won't have bad feeling from accormodation at Hikone, it recommends that you have to go to Toyoko-Inn.And room of mine, it seems that the bathroom has been fulfilled by smelling of sweaty person. It is rubbish.[*Followings]Problem happened in then, hotel promised issuing report for this matter within nextday,But after 1 day pasting finally they never issued it at the timing of my checking out.(Not only issuing report failure of payment machine, for miss payment of staff, they've agreed issuing report.)They are terribely lier.

I visited Gokasho, using Hikone as my base, in order to get to know the Omi merchants. The reason I decided to go to Hikone, which was far away, was because I was planning to go to Shiga University's Faculty of Economics Archives the next day. Even if you are not on campus, you can tour the permanent exhibition corner related to Omi merchants. (There is a direct bus from Hikone Station that costs 100 yen one way.)This was my first time using AB Hotel. It was good that it was close to the station and had a large public bath. Well, it's actually about the size of a medium-sized bathhouse. LOL However, it is important to stretch your legs and take a relaxing bath. For dinner, there are plenty of pubs in front of the station, as well as convenience stores and supermarkets, so you shouldn't have any problems. Check out can be done using the machine next to the front desk. This machine is excellent, and I was able to use it to exchange money for bus fares. Thank you for your help.

It's close to the station and has a decent number of parking spaces (there seems to be an affiliated parking lot as well). It is also convenient to use the hotel. It's near the station, so there are food shops.Convenience stores and supermarkets are also nearby. There is no problem with the location for sightseeing such as Hikone Castle.Great for eating and drinking in your room or buying souvenirs from Hikone.Convenient as Al Plaza (Heiwado) is nearby. There is no problem with the size of the room.Hotel prices are reasonableAlthough the bath is small, there is a large bath, and the breakfast is buffet-style, making it the best value for money.I had a good time this time, soIf I have a chance to go to Hikone, I would like to use it again.

I thought I wouldn't have a problem finding food since it's right in front of the station, but the decline of Hikone Station is amazing. All the popular chain stores are located along the national highway. You can walk from this hotel, but the decline of local cities has reached this point. I thought Hikone City would be safe because of the national treasure Hikone Castle, but I'm worried about the future of Japan, but the hotel is clean and comfortable, so it's a good hotel to stay in Hikone.

The room was spacious and clean. I was glad that the shower and toilet had an opening sash (?) unlike normal hotels. It's wide.Recommended near the station.
