Very convenient for the station and restaurants/bars. Cheque in and out is fast and efficient and the staff are very helpful. The rooms are small but well designed and have everything you need. The bathoom was too small, but manageable. Breakfast could do with more variety.

This is the second APA hotel we stayed in, on this trip.Overall, this hotel is also a great hotel. The rooms are excellent, though small. The beds are comfortable and cozy, linens very clean. Rooms are warm, may be a bit too much.Bathrooms are clean. The breakfast was excellent, great variety of Japanese items. The food and the service at the restaurant was excellent.

Stayed at the South building (and I can’t comment on the main bldg as it looked newer)First off let me say that I have stayed at numerous other APA hotels and usually love staying there. But dear lord try to avoid the south building rooms at all costs! Booked 2 nights there and it was the first time I couldn’t wait to leave a Japanese hotel!! The room was super stuffy and smelled dusty. I tried to open the window, but the window barely opens because you are up against the next bldg (no sunlight) - so if you can book main bldg - give that a try.I tried to turn on the aircon to get airflow, but it was only heating because they switched the system over (which was understandable as its November, but 27’C days this yr)Worst of all - the washroom fan was super loud (probably needs replacing as you can hear it is hitting something) and the washroom continuously smells of sweat/mold. The dampness of the washroom never goes away - likely the ventilation isn’t good enough since room faces a wall. I left my razor in there 1 night and had to replace the blade as I saw it grow rust 😂It’s not really the staffs fault, location is still good so theres that. But that south building needs a full on renovation or replacement as building is so old.

2/10 (South building-old)Black mold in the bathroomDusty bedroomPoor customer serviceNOT recommend this.I got a room from the older building connected to the new one. While it’s not expensive, it’s not the cheapest either (373.53 USD for 7 nights). It was so dusty that when I walked into my room, I sneezed 6 times. I have a nasal condition where I have to rely on my nasal spray for inflammation (I was exposed to black mold for 4 years). Being in that hotel room, my nose kept getting blocked every 1 &1/2hours when my normal is every 4 hours. My face and body was itching everyday as well. (I couldn’t leave because it was prepaid and non-refundable.)In the bathroom, the door, the corners, behind the mirrors and behind the instruction board was black mold. I took pictures of it and the dust in the bed room and showed to the front desk. They arranged a cleaning service for the next day. And when I checked the next day, the mold and the dust was untouched. I ended up cleaning everything myself (including the mold, except behind the mirror and the instruction board). I can only assume the front desk didn’t specify the cleaning staff where it was dirty (horrible SOP and insufficient recording and checks). The room was dark and depressing. There was no natural light coming in.But great location. Close to all the restaurants and malls.I would never stay in any APA hotels again.Pay a little more and go elsewhere if you also can’t handle dust and mold or get good capsule hotels for cheaper but cleaner.

I have stayed at a different APA hotel before and it was far better than this one. Toilet was unclean, front staff were unhelpful/didn’t care. Overall the experience was sub par. For a hotel that is everywhere I would expect far better. Investing some resources on upgrading and renovation would be advisable instead of spending on a 45 inch tv that you need to look up to watch due to its position on the wall. Would have taken images but it wasn’t worth the effort.Update: Okay, had to stay at the same hotel again due to work. Different room, smaller and dirtier than the previous. Couldn’t be bothered to take pictures of every dirt and mess but I cannot believe that they put out dirty quilt to sleep on. APA mentions “simplified luxury” on their key card, must mean something completely different. I really don’t like posting negative reviews or comments but this is just unforgivable.

Cleanliness of room below par. You can see where the cleaning ends. Anything at arm’s length only, beyond that dust has settled so clearly. Bed is too soft for comfort. Only good is near station.

My stay with Jurys Inn Birmingham was superb, it was best to none. It met my dreams. I wanted somewhere quiet and peaceful. The rooms are soundproof. Never got disturbed by anything. Restaurants are within short distance and City Centre - Bull Ring is within 10 mins.Reception staff were greatly amazing, very kind and professionalMy room had enough space for me to move around with my mobility aids. The bathroom was very clean.Room 601 was the best ever.Management was excellent, especially Anthony the Deputy Manager, he is one Manager from Heaven.

Khách sạn cách ga Shizouka một đoạn. Phòng sạch sẽ, gọn gàng, đầy đủ tiện nghi. Nhân viên khách sạn thân thiện và có máy tự check-in, check-out nên khá tiện lợi.The hotel is some distance from Shizouka station. The room is clean, neat, fully equipped. The hotel staff is friendly and there is a self-check-in and check-out machine so it's quite convenient.

Room was dusty and smelled bad. The hotel was non smoking but our room smelled like cigarettes. The location was great. The staff was friendly, just the room was awful. I've stayed at other APA hotels and there were far better.
