A Dormy Inn chain capsule hotel that reopened on July 11, 2024.I was told that I could easily check in using ``Rapid Check-in,'' like APA Hotel's 1-second check-in, but I was unable to do so.I need to import reservation information into the app in advance, but no matter how many times I try, I can't import it.I was told that I could get it after 6am on the day of my reservation, but in the end I couldn't get it until the afternoon of the check-in day.So I had to check in manually using an automated terminal, but I had to enter my address on the touch panel, which was quite difficult. It would have been easier if they had at least put it in a QWERTY layout, but it took a lot more time than writing it by hand. There was a staff member at the front desk, but they didn't say anything and just stood there in silence. It was my first time using the service, and after receiving the key, I was simply told, ``You can find all the information you need by scanning the QR code.'' There was no explanation.(Furthermore, the front staff at check-out was polite and pleasant.)I stayed in a cabin room, but I didn't know if you couldn't use the locker room because there was no guidance. If you can use it, it would be more convenient to put your bags in a locker.(Unknown as it is not mentioned anywhere)Overall, the facility was very clean as it had just been renovated. However, it seemed that the cleaning was not done properly.(There was hair on the bed, and the lid of the trash can in the common area was dirty.)This hotel has a large public bath and sauna, and the public bath is gender-separated, while the sauna is for men only.Only a maximum of 3 people can enter the public bath and sauna. There is a stone from Dormy Inn in the public bath. There are some comic books in the basement. We also had ice cream and Yacuri Soba from Dormy Inn.You can freely drink soup and coffee in the common space.Personally, I would have liked for them to have sweets as well.It is also conveniently located, just a 6-minute walk from Ishikawacho Station (north exit), right in front of the Kwantibyo Temple in Chinatown.I wrote a lot of complaints, but considering the price, I was satisfied.

It is located in Yokohama Chinatown. It was better than I expected. The people at the front desk are polite, and each capsule is separate, so you can hear some noise, but it gives you the feeling of having your own private room. Reservations are required for private hot springs, but they are free. The shower booth in the shower room has a choice of 4 types of water output. There are also chairs to sit on.The cafe had vegan keema curry. It was very good. The only disappointing thing is that there is shark fin on the breakfast menu, although I didn't ask for it. I feel bad that only the fin part of the shark's fin was cut off, and the fish couldn't swim anymore. I think we can still provide a delicious breakfast even if we change to another menu, so I hope you reconsider. It was a very good hotel in terms of comfort.

I had a wonderful stay at this hostel! It’s incredibly clean, safe, and well-organized, with clearly divided zones that create a peaceful atmosphere. There are plenty of amenities available, which made my stay even more comfortable. On top of that, the staff was extremely friendly and provided excellent service throughout my visit. Overall, it’s one of the best hostels I’ve ever stayed at, and I highly recommend it!

It's in the middle of Chinatown, or rather in front of Guan Di Temple, so it's easy to access.Well, even though it's a capsule, it's relatively expensive...

◎ High cost performance. There are also two baths and a sauna room. Dormy Inn services are extensive, including free ramen noodles, ice cream after bathing, and lactic acid bacteria drinks in the morning. There is also a lounge that has a drink bar and is open until 11pm.△ Both the capsule bed and cabin cannot be locked due to legal reasons, so managing valuables is a bit of a hassle.[Access] About 6 minutes walk from Ishikawacho North Exit on the JR Negishi Line and Motomachi/Chukagai Station on the Minato Mirai Line. In the middle of Chinatown.[Facility equipment] 5 floors above ground, 1 floor underground. 2 elevators. On the first floor, there is a front desk, amenities, cafe "OASIS", smoking area, wheelchair toilet, cabin section, etc. The first basement floor has a large public bath (separate hours for men and women), a private bath (40 minutes), a men's sauna, a comic corner, an ice machine, a vending machine, and post-bath services (ice cream, etc.). The 2nd floor is the women's floor, and the 3rd to 5th floors are the men's floors. There are capsule beds and cabins (bunk beds) in the security area on each floor, and there are toilets, shower rooms, and laundry outside. There is also a large common area on the second and third floors, and the drink bar also has freeze-dried soups.[Room] Cabin type on the 5th floor, lower berth used. Inside the accordion door is a bunk bed (TV, earphones, dimmer, etc.), desk (dial type safe: 55 x 18 x 40 cm, doubles as a luggage storage, also has a wire lock so you can store suitcases, etc.), stool, There is no refrigerator, just a mirror, desk light, and trash can. However, there are cold drinks bags and ice packs on each floor. Wi-Fi is extremely strong. There's no view.[Breakfast] Buffet type at Cafe OASIS on the 1st floor. Very cheap at 1,300 yen for overnight guests and 1,500 yen for outpatients and paid on the day. Although the number of items is small, it is highly satisfying, including drool chicken, mapo tofu, and almond tofu. Dormy Inn's famous local menu is shark fin. Serve over rice or noodles.[Summary] Single use ◎, group use △. It was a weekday, so it was quiet with many solo customers. It doesn't have the atmosphere of having a beer and socializing, which is common in hostels for foreigners. The location is in the middle of Chinatown. The facilities have recently been renovated and are very clean. In addition to the safe, there are many other facilities spread throughout the building that require some getting used to. But it's amazing that you can experience Dormy Inn service for around 4,000 yen. I would like to use it again.
