We stayed in a room that was originally a storehouse. The bath attached to the room was lukewarm and just the right temperature for two people, so we took a relaxing bath. It was also very nice that both the indoor and outdoor baths could be reserved for private use whenever they were available.I was very satisfied with both dinner and breakfast! No matter what I ate, it was delicious and I would like to eat it again. There's a lot of food so you'll want to make sure you're hungry lolMr. Nakai was said to be a Vietnamese student studying Japanese, but he greeted me with a smile, which made me happy and made me want to support him.I think this hotel is suitable for people who want to relax in their room rather than the detailed service provided by the staff and the preparation of amenities.I would also like to bring someone special to me on a special occasion or as a reward!

I felt very uncomfortable with the way this hotel treated me. I had booked a plan that included breakfast and dinner. I was told that I would be staying overnight without meals as the board leader was not feeling well, but there was no communication from the inn. Since the information about our inn had been deleted from the site where we made the reservation, we contacted the inn.If the plan changes due to the inn's circumstances, I think it is common sense for the inn to notify the guest in advance.Perhaps there were complaints from other guests as well. The reviews for the meal were very good, and I had made a reservation specifically for the meal, so it would have been a shame if I went there without knowing about it and was told that I would be staying overnight without meals.Since this day was a special day, I really wanted to go on a hot spring trip, and there were only 3 days left until I went on the trip, but there was no point in staying overnight without meals, so I canceled Hanagaen and booked another hotel in a hurry. I did.If I hadn't found another place to stay, the train I had booked would have been wasted.I was so angry that I contacted Hanachoen by phone and was told that there would be no cancellation fee. (Of course. It's due to the circumstances of the inn.)If I cannot find another accommodation and the train I booked is canceled, I asked if Hanachoen would pay the refund fee, and they offered to pay it, but I would have to contact Hanachoen Co., Ltd. for the procedure for the cancellation fee. Ba. The proprietress of the inn asked me, but what is Hanachoen Co., Ltd.?No matter how hard I search, I can't find it, and I can only find a phone number that connects directly to Hanagaen. I felt that this kind of response was very rude and made fun of the customers.I understand that it is difficult for the head of the inn to be sick and unable to come, but I think it would be better to do the bare minimum necessary. You lack common sense.I have stayed at various inns and hotels, but this is the first time I have been treated so badly. If you are reading this review, there are many other wonderful ryokans, so we recommend staying at one of them.

Be careful how you go 😭⚠️Google Maps tells you to get off at the Sakurayama Iriguchi bus stop and then take the back road. You will be guided through an unbelievable and magical path! !Follow the instructions on the official website and Jalan.Get off at the “Gensenkyo” bus stop → go from the main street!I stayed at the inn without meals. The futon is smelly haha

The fish tank at the entrance is dirty, smells fishy, and is disgusting.Meals are served in the room, but due to a lack of staff, the food doesn't come out quickly, so it takes a long time, and the dishes aren't cleaned up, so it's hard to relax. It's better to eat this at a restaurant. When I upgraded the dishes, I ended up eating more sashimi and raw fish, which made me feel sick, so I left it alone.I want to eat properly cooked fish, not cheap sashimi. The private open air was nice. The rooms are old, but this is what Japanese style inns are like.I'm tired of cooking so I won't be returning.

I made a reservation for a family trip, but I had to cancel it suddenly because my child had a cold, so I was charged a 50% cancellation fee.I had already agreed to that, but when I noticed that the cancellation fee included consumption tax of 4,700 yen, I inquired about it, and it seemed like they had clearly found out (the cancellation fee does not include consumption tax).``If the customer says so, we will take it away. ”``The national consumption tax and cancellation fee have nothing to do with it. This is a contract between you and our company. Country doesn't matter. This is the amount you would normally pay. ”``Since our founding, cancellation fees have been collected in this way. ”and,,,,.You've been saying that it's normal to charge excessive amounts of cancellation fees, including consumption tax, from customers, and I guess they've been doing this until now because they didn't want to get caught.I also laughed when they openly said that they have been doing fraudulent billing since their founding. There were a lot of good things written in the reviews, but I felt like I had seen the real side of this ryokan.Since you said ``since our founding,'' thousands and tens of thousands of people who have canceled so far have been made to pay excessive cancellation fees.We will only give the lowest rating to inns that look good.At the end of the phone call, I was told the corrected amount and immediately hung up.She is such a personable lady.Kachoen is such a ryokan. This is all about the unpleasant cancellation.

It's right after getting off the bus stop, but it's a tough uphill climb. People with disabilities should go by car. The nearest convenience store is two kilometers away, so it would be a pain if I didn't shop at the station. The food was plentiful and delicious, but the staff was foreign and the explanations of the dishes were tonchinkan.Even though I ordered a birthday cake, the cake didn't come out.Even though I added one person, the number of people was wrong, so the service was poor. was full of anxiety. However, there are 4 types of baths and it's nice to have a semi-open-air bath in the room 👍

When I arrived, the landlady told me that some of the staff were Vietnamese and that although they could communicate in Japanese, it was sometimes difficult to understand, so I asked them to look at me more often.·staffWhen I spoke with the person who actually served the food, I was able to have a normal conversation with them, and I think I was able to remember Japanese well. I honestly think it's amazing, even though the culture and everything else is different! (Sorry if it sounds like I'm looking down at you.)Occasionally, I can see that she seems like a foreigner, but it doesn't bother me at all!·The roomThis time I stayed in a room called Moegi. It was modern, very clean, and very comfortable to spend time in.When I opened the window, I was able to enjoy the pleasant breeze and the sound of the flowing river, and I was so comfortable that I dozed off on the sofa.·bath2 private indoor baths, 2 private open-air bathsYou can enter as much as you like 24 hours a day, so I was able to enter everything. (Also the bathroom in the room)It's chilly outdoors, but I think that's part of the fun.Above all, it's so great to be able to cool down my hot body with the outside air and then take a bath again without being tied down by time...I can't say anything but the best words. The quality of the spring water in the bath was soft.Even I, who have sensitive skin, felt comfortable wearing it!·cookingAs others have said, I thought I had a lot of dinner, but once I started eating, I couldn't stop using my chopsticks, and every time I ate, I got hungry, so I ended up having to refill the rice, so I had to eat ohitsu all by myself. I held it and ate it.There was a type of fish that I had never eaten before, but it was very delicious. The egg rolls for breakfast were delicious, but they had a bit of shell in them and were chewy. I'm glad it wasn't in the tamagoyaki that my wife eats, and I feel like I've supplemented my calcium intake, so I'm glad I did.I think it's been a while since I was able to stay at a proper inn.I will use them again without hesitation.
