We loved our stay here! The owners are incredibly kind and friendly, they have very nice suggestions about what to see in Hakone and how to organize the day and the sightseeing activities. The room and bathroom are super clean, the beds are comfortable and I slept like a baby. There is a bus stop 7/8 mins from the hotel and that stop is very well connected to all touristic attractions. Two suggestions for upcoming guests: 1) purchase the Hakone Free Pass which gives you access to all bus rides (and also the cruise and ropeway); 2) if you’re coming to this hotel with heavy luggages please contact the hotel owners and ask if you can book a “luggage” delivery service - this is helpful because the bus that takes you from the main train station to the hotel is small with few places for luggages and can be quite complicated to arrive with your luggages.Thank you so much for the lovely stay!! Kisses from Brazil and Italy!

This is a great place to stay. The room is extremely spacious and has everything you need. Staff is so nice and helpful! They were waiting for us with a complete list of things to do during our brief stay, and it was perfect! The place is really quiet, only 5 min walk from the road with good bus transportation. There are also a few restaurants around, and a 24h 7 eleven that's always handy.

Walking into this resort and being greeted was soo lovely. The owners are super communicative throughout your stay. They help you with things to do, recommendations etc.We even got to see the fireworks thanks to their recommendations in a lovely area without being surrounded by other tourists. The rooms are spacious. The WiFi is good (I was able to take meetings easily). How a place makes you feel makes all the difference and they made us feel like home.Location is also excellent

Stayed at Field Hakone Resort for 2 nights. As soon as we arrived the owner greeted us and gave us a rundown of everything to do in Hakone. He also told us directions to all of the different landmarks and also spoke very good English. The rooms were very spacious and comfortable with a good view of the mountains around Hakone. Beds were comfortable and the room was very clean. There is also a laundry room on the bottom floor.Overall I would highly recommend this hotel for anyone planning on staying in Hakone.

You can take the T bus from Odawara station to 仙石原 and walk about 7 minutes to the hotel.Hotel is traditional Japanese style. It's very spacious, clean and quiet. You are supposed to take off your shoes before entering the lobby. The owners are very helpful and speak good English. They gave us lots of good suggestions.Besides the things that the Hakone Free Pass covers, we also walked to a nearby temple and hiked up to the mountain to try to see Mount Fuji.Nearby restaurants and supermarkets A-Corp, 7/11) are convenient and reasonably affordable.

Every time I look at the orizuru, it pulls back the memory of the Hakone in April. I have to say that the stay and travel in Hakone was the best experience I have ever had so far across Japan. The owner of Field Hakone Resort truly deserves a medal from the Hakone Tourism Association. The room was cozy, warm, very clean. The parking is just outside the building. Frankly, we were shocked that the owner helped us to clean the wheels of our luggage. You can see how much they care about the hygiene and keeping the floor clean for every customer. They prepared everything you need in the room for your stay. You will also receive detailed sightseeing info/advice based on the weather/season from the owner. The Fuji Reien is really a great place for seeing the sakura! The only thing I regret was I should have booked a longer stay. But how long will be enough? We will definitely visit Hakone again in a different season one day! I wish you all the best!
