Excellent hotel for the price.+ The room is big and comfortable+ Clean property.+ Traditional yukata available for you to wear inside the property.+ Absolutely AMAZING open air onsen (separated gender, no clothing)+ Highly recommend the meals options. Dinner is fancy and breakfast is buffet style.- The shower is a bit old school.- It is quite far from the station. Shuttle bus could be full.Useful info:The hotel is up on the steep hill, do not try to walk here from the station with luggages.A taxi here from the station is 900yen.You can also take shuttle bus from the station to Okada hotel for 200yen pre person. Then you use the elevator at Okada to get here. They have luggage delivery service at the front desk until 10am (fee apply)The last dinner slot is 7pm. You will get serve if you check in before 7pm. Some booking sites showing 5pm, that is NOT ACCURATE.The pool is only open during summer.

I personally took it because it's the best I could afford for a ryokan, the others cost a fortune. It's honestly what the price is worth. The infrastructure is getting old. However, the Japanese-style ryokan was clean and the experience was pleasant. The Onsen was zen and well-appointed. We loved the massage, manga and video games rooms. The restaurants offered some Western options and the waiter was very friendly. For the hotel reception, it was rather mediocre. A curt welcome in incomprehensible English. The place is quite far away with a mountain to climb. I highly recommend taking a taxi to get there, it cost us 1000 yens from the train station. For the departure, there is a shuttle, but the instructions from the reception to take it are really not clear. We finally found the stop, it was complicated. Calling a taxi in the morning took 1 hour of waiting. I simply recommend walking back to the station, it takes around 20 minutes and is easy to do.

It's been quite a while since my husband and I went to Hakone. I worked full time while caring for my husband's mother-in-law at home for three years, and then my father-in-law passed away. It's been three years since we finally went on a trip together as a couple. After making a reservation, I read the comments and was disappointed, but when I thought about the cost performance, I thought it was very good. The dinner was hot and the sashimi was very delicious. The hot springs and room were nice.

Is it the same affiliated hotel in Okada as the hotel I stayed at before? The road is quite steep, so be careful when the weather is bad! There are no amenities in the bath or room, so you just get them at the front desk. The food also seemed a little lacking.

Use when traveling aloneA hotel where you can enjoy natureRecommended for those who eat a small amount of food with a wide variety of food. There are 6 types of hot springs, and the water is slightly lukewarm. It is clean and easy to use as it is cleaned frequently. If you are heading to the hotel on foot, go to the 8th floor from the front desk of Hotel Okada and walk a little further until you reach the stairs, then go up there and there will be a passageway that will lead you to the hotel. Make sure you don't climb the steep slope even if you make a mistake\_(・ω・`)

The toilet in the room smelled of urine all the time.I told them my weight in advance and checked to see if they had a larger yukata, but when I actually arrived, I couldn't wear it at all.The bath was goodBreakfast was also delicious.
