A pleasant log cabin-esque experience in HakoneLiked · Check-in process was easy using the iPad. Door to the unit is also via keypad code so there's no worry about losing keys. There is a very friendly foreman on-site to help with any check-in queries. He was also available to instantly fix a leaky tap in the unit. The unit was very clean, modern and gave a very unique log cabin vibe which was pleasant. The bed was very comfy and the unit was well-equipped with camping chairs, cooking utensils, fridge etc. The toilet was also very clean and spacious. Plenty of sofa room to lounge around or place your luggage on. The location is pretty great as it is near the bus stop and is surrounded by several restaurants, shops and a supermarket.Disliked · The check-in kiosk is actually located on the right side of the property lot so it took me a while to locate it initially as I was looking around the left side of the lot. The ground is also not concreted or paved but just lined with stones and pebbles which did not make in conducive to wheel our luggage nor appropriate for individuals on a wheelchair. We had to carry our luggage up to the unit which included a short flight of stairs.

I stayed with 8 friends for 2 nights and 3 days during summer vacation.First of all, it took a very long time to arrive due to the location. I think it was our fault for not doing our homework, but there were no buses running from the nearest bus stop to our destination, and we couldn't hail a taxi, so we ended up climbing a ridiculously steep hill for about 30 minutes. It's tough when you don't have a car.A special QR code is supposed to be sent to the reservation person's email for check-in, but it didn't arrive and when I sent an email to inquire, I got an error saying, ``The recipient's email box is full and I couldn't receive it.'' Although I received the QR code email the day before, I was a little worried. The apartment I stayed in had all the amenities, kitchen utensils, and a TV, which was a big help. However, the sofa was damp and there was a little mold on the curtains. The bathroom was spacious and easy to use, but the shower suddenly stopped producing only water. I called and asked about it, and they fixed it on the second day, but it was very inconvenient. .It is better not to have high expectations when using it.

I used it before Obon. The male staff member who was cleaning the room next door was friendly and courteous. The room was kept clean and although it was raining, there was a roof outside, so we were able to hold the BBQ as planned. It was a satisfying day.

I used it in August, but the foreign staff (who called themselves owners) had the worst experience. To put it simply, it took an hour from arrival to check-in, and all the ice cream and other ingredients melted. The delay in check-in was due to a flaw on the facility's part (tablet malfunction). Even when I called the contact number for problems, the phone wasn't answered for about 40 minutes, and yet there was no apology. On the contrary, they treated us with incendiary tone, calling us names, and making negative comments as if it were our fault. When I asked for a partial refund since it was their fault that the ingredients melted, they started getting angry and insulting me. Everything has been recorded. In the end, I was told that I could not apologize and hung up. I called back with a different number and was told that the rude staff member was the owner. Since I'm the owner, I can't apologize, and it seems that honorific language doesn't matter. In the end, while I was waiting outside, he insisted that he hadn't received a phone call. I have a history of all the calls I make from several phones. It's hilarious, isn't it? It's interesting that I sent an inquiry email immediately after staying, but I haven't received a reply yet. It's better not to go because it's run by foreigners, and you can't speak Japanese properly.

I didn't have high expectations because of the bad reviews, but it was clean and surprisingly comfortable! I may have been lucky that there were no people in the cabin next to me.It was helpful to have tableware prepared, but if you are concerned about it, it might be better to have disinfectant wipes!

On my first trip to Hakone, I saw this place on the web and it was a stylish place where I could take my dog, so I decided to use it.The location was a little hard to find and the room was a little disappointing, but I enjoyed using it.However, after I got home, I received many phone calls from the male staff, and even though I used the service properly, for some reason I received negative complaints, which made me feel really bad even though I had an enjoyable trip. . I will never go there again. If you are considering staying here, I think it would be better to read the reviews before using.

I went during Golden Week. I didn't have toothpaste to brush my teeth, I didn't have pajamas, the bath water wasn't warm enough, and there were already about 5 bugs in the room.It was like a ghost house and it was fun!

It was very good.It would have been even better if I could find information about ingredients, seasonings, and supplies on the website, as it would have been easier to prepare.
