Our stay here here was incredible. The only downside was that we didn't stay here longer.Hotel & Room:- Beautiful and modern with nods to Japanese culture through design, art, and materials- It's very small with limited rooms and 1 elevator but that's what we loved about it — the quiet.- Lobby, though small, was beautifully furnished and clean. The moment you step in, it feels like you're in a nice, quiet bubble- Restaurant on the 1st floor was very good. As a guest of the hotel, you can eat up on the pool bar if the restaurant gets full.- Rooms were wonderful, spotless, comfortable with lush green balconies. You get a welcome snack, free unlimited water, turn down service (cbd eye masks, snack, and herbal tea every night), really awesome daily essentials such as serum and moisturizer packets.Staff- So nice and welcoming. Because the hotel is so small, they remember you right away, remember you order as well as your preferences. They were all extremely attentive, professional, and wonderful.Pool- This was our favourite part about the hotel. It was a treat to jump in the pool (heated) and jacazzi looking over Yoyogi Park after very long overstimulating days.- Pool and bar was always very quiet so the service was immaculate- Very very clean and well maintained- Truly felt like an oasis in the middle of Tokyo- Drinks were greatLocation:- Super convenient- Close to the Metro- Blocks away from the hustle and bustle of Shibuya- 7eleven a block or 2 away and across that, a small but well stocked market- Lots of cute stores and good restaurants around the hotelWe look forward to staying here again.

Loved this hotel in busy Shibuya despite small room up against window with acces to only one side of bed and very little room for luggage or hanging clothes. Staff were great. Loved the bar which provided great coffee and pastries in the morning and drinks in the evening. Fabulous meal in the outdoor restaurant.

Fantastic hotel! One of our favorite hotels we stayed at during our time in Japan. The rooms are beautiful and the service is excellent. The neighborhood is quiet but also a central location to serve as a home base for exploring Tokyo. Would absolutely stay here again in the future!

Other hotels in this price range outperform Trunk Yoyogi. There is no gym or spa, and no dedicated concierge. The street is pretty noisy at night and the bed is not very comfortable - especially the pillows. Our sink would become very hot no matter what direction we turned the handle. Overall a decent hotel but for this price you expect higher quality.

Fabulous hotel. Great location and the staff go above and beyond. Bed was a little hard for my liking. Rooftop pool and bar/restaurant is a wonderful place to have breakfast to start your day and a glass of wine to unwind after exploring the city. The Italian restaurant on site was also quite good.

I can’t say enough good things about Trunk Yoyogi. The level of detail in their rooms and the whole experience throughout is overwhelming in the best of ways. The location is excellent, surrounded by a super cool neighborhood filled with design-y, quality local businesses. It’s also next to a metro station and walking distance from Omote-sando, Harajuku and of course Yoyogi park and its shrine. We can’t wait to be back <3

The Trunk Hotel is an excellent hotel. We stayed in this hotel for 5 days.Positive points:- The location: 15 minutes walk from Shibuya Crossing, 5 minutes walk from a metro station which serves many places (you are approximately 30 minutes by metro from all places of interest which is very good for Tokyo)- the heated swimming pool on the roof with a breathtaking view of a pretty park, the cocktails are very good (pool open until midnight is great)- the room, although very small, is well appointed with beautiful materialsNegative points:- even if the hotel is very good, I would not categorize it as a 5-star hotel but rather as a 4-star hotel (no concierge service, no spa or gym, a very small and minimalist reception which looks rather 4 stars, a mid-range Italian restaurant, nice rooms but not worthy of a 5 star)- the price of €480 per night for a hotel that is more 4 stars than 5 stars is a little excessive in my opinion...

Perfect Tokyo boutique hotel. Nailed it in every way in design and hospitality. The neighborhood makes this hotel shine and we felt comfortable and at ease exploring and making ourselves at home in Tomigaya.The staff are young, casual, and very competent, and the facilities are beautiful. Everything feels, and is new.The pool and rooftop are a reason to stay here in itself.Recommendation for those looking to book is that their standard rooms are quite small. It didn’t bother my husband and me, but I could see it being an issue for some couples during an extended stay. This is definitely a property where it would be worth it to book a suite.This hotel met and exceeded expectations in every way and I couldn’t recommend it more as the ideal boutique stay in Tokyo. We can’t wait to stay there again.

Great hotel. We stayed there for 7 nights April/May 2024 and enjoyed every bit of it. Very nice rooms with fantastic furniture and a great atmosphere, nice pool area and super helpful staff. Hotel is conveniently located - close (15 min walk) to Shibuya and very close (5 min walk) to other Metro and bus stations.We would book again.
