The location is perfect, right by the lake. The room was spacious which was great. It was reasonably clean. However, some negatives for me--The shower was extremely uncomfortable. And the water kept getting suddenly cold then hot and it was not a pleasant experience.-The hair dryer was weak compared to other places in Japan. I couldn't dry my hair properly.-The lock to the door opens with code. However, you need to play with the door in order for it to open. Inconvenient, especially the first time, you think you didn't put the right code and you panick.-The toilet smells. And the ventilation system does a horrible noise so you can't use it.-Poor lighting, really dark. And the A/C barely heats the room. It was cold at night.I think future guests would enjoy the above issues fixed.Pluses:location, comfortable beds, good wifi

I met Koreans when I stayed there. It was very noisy upstairs in the middle of the night and I couldn't sleep. No one could help. The floor felt like it was made of wood. Overall, I don't recommend staying there.

For the price we paid this was Value for money! Perfect location on the bus route from Odawara, bus stop just 1 min away, the jetty to board the pirate ship on Lake Ashi is 5 min walk across the road. The building is old but apartment amenities are modern. It has 2 double beds and 2 sofa beds, complete mini kitchen, with washing machine. Contactless check in meant we didn’t have to rush to meet any check in deadline. Most eateries in Hakone close early so it’s best to plan ahead for dinner. There is a mini mart nearby if you are caught out. And a Chinese restaurant nearby that serves a quick good meal. It’s very quiet at night and had a good sleep. In the morning it was lovely to watch the street come alive with people. There are many souvenir shops in the area.

We stayed on the first floor apartment. No elevator but that is already stated on the booking site. One flight of steps wasn’t a big deal to climb. It was easy check in with pass codes. …

First of all, this is self check-in airbnb! And there were stairs to go up to the room! We had to climb the stairs with our luggage! Troublesome The place was dead at night. Nothing was there. …

Very economical and spacious rooms. They only have 2 rooms but apart from two large beds they also have sofa bed. In the premium room they have washing machine, and burner. In normal room they dont have washing machine but induction heater. It can accommodate 5 ppl in a room and self serviced.

Very close to few of the main tourist attractions of Hakone, 50ms away from the Bus stop / pirate ship stop / fuji view point.This hotel includes good toiletries, kettle, stove, washing machine, 2 double beds 2 sofa beds.But the heater wasn't good enough to heat the entire room.
