What a wonderful hotel! We stayed at the beautiful Tomoya for about a week. The location is perfect, in a quieter area but only about a 5 minute walk to the station, 15 minute walk to the city or 5 minute bike ride. The area is full of great cafes, restaurants and stores. Everything about our stay exceeded our expectations. The room we stayed in (garden suite) was very spacious. It had a living area, bedroom, laundry/wardrobe and split bathroom. Everything you’d need for a stay in Kyoto. The service at the hotel was amazing, the staff are so lovely and helpful. We will certainly be staying again when we are in Kyoto next time!

We stayed in Tomoya from Aug 7 to 11. Everything is beyond our expectations. The room is spacious, twin bed suite. Equipped with a small kitchenette, dryer n washer. All the hardware in the room are in pristine condition and work perfectly. Daily breakfast, (japanese n western) serve in the room is excellence. Service from the team is beyond 5 stars. All stuffs can converse in English. Ideal location, situated in a quiet street, surrounded by unique shops and restaurants. We rather spend time walking in small streets than shopping n eating at Kyoto station. Less than 10 mins to Karasuma Oike subway station, and and about 30 mins walk to Gion. Pleasant walk if you walk along Kiyamachi dori. Thank you Tomoya for the great hospitality. Keep up the good work. Hope to see you again. All the bestLIM How Ping

What a wonderful hotel! A spacious room with a thoughtful customer service, especially it is at a good price. Though it takes us a few minutes walk from the station, it is worth for a stay. We also found many excellent restaurants nearby.

That’s a great addition. Here’s the full review with your new sentence integrated:My mom and I visited Kyoto during hanami season in April. We stayed here for one night, and the suite we booked was perfect for its value, even during high season. This is my sixth visit to Japan and approximately tenth hotel, and I can confidently say this was the very best in terms of value and service. However, what is even more commendable is the level of service offered here. For instance, my mom and I were trying to navigate our way back to Osaka late at night, hours after we had checked out. The kind gentlemen at the front desk could not have been more helpful, assisting us in selecting the best train and providing detailed instructions to reach the appropriate station. They were patient and caring, embodying the absolute best of the world-renowned Japanese standard of service. We cannot wait to return on our next visit to Kyoto.
