Absolutely loved this place. Fantastic Kyoto location., wonderful service. The rooms were smallish but well appointed. I reserved the deluxe studio with kitchenette. Perfect for two. The staff was very attentive and the hotel breakfasts delicious and a good value. Lots of European guests and a few Americans when I was there.

Helpful staff, good breakfast, smaller, clean rooms (de luxe), coffee maker and kettle in the room, well equipped bathroom, comfortable mattress. Rooms with a view other than the street have opaque glass. The air conditioner does not have an English mode, but it works well. Washing machine (4x ¥100) and dryer ¥100 next to reception. It only takes coins, not cards.

Great hotel, very well located, not far from the shopping streets. The hotel is modern, and the rooms are large with a real bathroom (first since my arrival in Japan).Very good quality of service. Possibility of connecting your own Netflix account to the TV.The only negative point is not being able to adjust the temperature of the air conditioning which automatically resets to 20 degrees.

We had a great stay here in a twin room. Very modern with all the amenities and warm staff at reception. Only downside is that there is one washing machine and drier. Good location between two metro lines. Would definitely return.

Goto-san really saved us when my boyfriend accidentally left some clothes in the room when we were rushing to our next destination and he was able to help us communicate with the other hotel and work out shipping it for us.The hotel itself also had complimentary tea/coffee/soft drinks and in an effort to be more environmental, they offered 500yen gift cards for nights when we did not require room cleaning (another hotel we stayed at did something similar but no incentive).
