Fantastic location, great amenities, and plenty of appliances in the kitchen and bathroom. Cleaned and maintained by friendly staff. If you don't mind slightly smaller rooms (which is pretty common in Japan) then I would definitely recommend this one. 👌

This hostel is pretty nice and the private rooms are cheap. It's only a 7 minute walk from kyoto station. The private roon is a pretty good size and has a sink and a TV in there. The lobby is pretty nice and well-maintained and the bathrooms are clean. My only issue with this hostel is that the showers are on the same floor as the lobby. Other than that it's a great place to stay at!

The hostel is thoughtfully designed with travelers in mind, offering plenty of guides and information for exploring the area. It even goes the extra mile by providing a dedicated website for customers.I loved the common areas, whether the kitchen or lounge, and they offer free barley tea, coffee, and tea (the coffee is great!). Laundry is available for ¥200, along with two dryer options. The items provided to guests are well thought out and of good quality. The staff is very helpful, and the room/bed was comfortable for me. I highly recommend this place and really enjoyed my 2-day stay.

Very close to the station, the space is very comfortable. One towel per person is provided. The room is simple, just the space for a bed, plus a sink and space for two luggages. The bed is very comfortable and there are a variety of pillows to choose from! The public space is very spacious and the kitchen is fully equipped with cooking utensils. Those who like to cook their own food will be very happy. There is free coffee and tea available 24 hours a day, and there is also ice-cold welcome barley tea available at the door. The more troublesome part is that we live on the second floor. If we want to take a shower or use the toilet, we have to go to the first floor, which is a bit far away. The soundproofing in the room is not good, but the store provides free earplugs.

Oh the amount of love I have fopr the city of Kyoto is made even better by staying at this Hostel. The staff were very friendly and helpful to all opf the people staying there. You can get free tea and coffee 24 seven. The architecture of the hostel is very good and feels very peaceful. You can get free towels everytime you take a shower, and also free ammenities such as soap, shampoo, conditioner, and detergent. The bed was very spacy. Big enough to move around and have a pleasant sleep. They also have game nights and activities in which people ion the hostel can hangout with eachother and the hostel's staff. You can leave your luggage with them until midnight even after you check out. Very helpful for people who wants to finish up a few things in Kyoto before leaving.Thank you so much Piece Hostel Kyoto. I will recommend this place to all solo travellers. Heck, I willl even recommend this place to all of my friends and family who plan to visit Kyoto.
