The service is first-class, the staff are professional and courteous, the dinner is very delicious, the room is clean, it is right next to Togetsukyo Bridge, and it is great to have breakfast looking at the river view. The only thing is that some of the decorations are older, but the facilities have been renovated, so the experience will not be affected

Kaiseki disappointment. No climax. Is there any way to tell a story if so much effort is put into the mise-en-scène?Room not soundproofed. The sound of water flowing and the exhaust fan running can be heard very vividly.Find another ryokan. Otherwise, I recommend a day trip to Arashiyama.

Stayed here for two nights with my family and really enjoyed the traditional Japanese experience here. We opted for the food which was excellent (although I don't recall having a bad meal in Kyoto at all). Rooms were comfortable and service was great. The onsen was never busy and really relaxing. I hope to return one day.

Beautiful experience, as soon as you enter you take off your shoes and you enter another world, the ryocan with tatami is beautiful, they explain to us how to wear the kimono and how to behave in the onsen.Absurd relaxation in the onsen, truly a wonderful experience. We chose half board, a Kansai dinner with many courses, a real journey for the taste buds, all while wearing a kimono.Very large room. I recommend doing the full experience, that is, with dinner and breakfast because these are things you only do once in a lifetime.

I came to Togetsutei on a trip to Kyoto during the rainy season! A room with a semi-open-air bath ^^ The bath smelled of cypress and was very relaxing, so I was able to relieve my fatigue 👍However, there was a slug 🐌 on the window knob in the bathroom, so I used disposable chopsticks that I happened to have with me. I kicked him out 💦😩 Although there are some things that can't be helped, I'm paying a not-so-cheap price, so I'd like you to take a look at the details 💦(^◇^;)

Excellent experience and can very much recommend. The private onsen was remarkable and worth the extra ¥4,400 we paid in July 2024. The dinner service was interesting. …

A super nice room, the staff are very polite, the environment is quiet, the Togetsukyo Bridge is right in front, the artificial bamboo scenery outside the window is very unique, there are cute cats in the artificial scenery outside the window, and there is a natural hot spring , although it is indoors, there are no people at all at night. 10 points recommend staying for one night.
