Location is perhaps the best cause in choosing this hotel. Immediate access after exiting from station. There is also a convenience store just next to hotel.Check in process was smooth. Room was small (like other hotels in Japan) but acceptable. Very limited bathroom space though. Ladies would probably have to do their makeup outside the bathroom.Amenities include a kettle, a hairdryer, a mini-refrigerator and slippers. Shower soap and shampoo were provided but judging from the texture it seemed like they are diluted with water. Water from both shower and tap was strong.Wifi on the other hand was quite weak and speed was slow. If you hate soft beddings and pillows like I do, you would probably have a good time here. I did not get any neck pain from sleeping throughout my stay here.

Location is the best! Bus stops to and from Kyoto Station are just steps away. It is also walking distance to many attractions like Gion, Pontocho Alley, Kami River. Starbucks is just downstairs and Lawsons convenience store is just at next door. Lifts are available so dont worry about big heavy luggage.Receptionists are very friendly, helpful and can converse in English. They do provide luggage storage for free. Also, they provide luggage delivery service but please communicate in advance especially if you need same day delivery.Room is decent, nothing to complain. They provide towels, toiletries incl. Toothbrush toothpaste but just like other hotels in Japan, they DONT provide drinking water.Overall, a good experience and would highly recommend to everyone... And thanks to all the staffs for excellent service 🫶

Reasonable rate at reasonable accommodation considering the location. Perfect for tourists who need no frills place to just sleep after whole days of traveling. The place is clean enough with basic amenities and some self-servicing. I say that because you won't find the refreshments inside your room as these are located in the lobby and free to bring to your rooms. Though the staff are somewhat always behind the curtains and need to be hollered. Will definitely recommend it.

This place has one thing going for it. LOCATION.The bathroom was the smallest I have ever been in, definitely won’t fit anyone super tall, my knees were almost touching the wall when using the toilet and I can touch the ceiling in the shower… I’m only 5’2.There is absolutely no air conditioning in the rooms, it exists only in the elevator and somewhat in the halls. Be ready to feel super stuffy and hot in the room after a shower.Front desk will only tell you to open the window if it’s hot which leads to excessive noise from the streets. But don’t think that closing the windows will solve your noise issue.. you can hear your neighbors inside their rooms. Coughing, talking, sneezing, etc. I suggest you find some place else if noise/air conditioning are your main requirements.

The hotel is on the second floor and above. Starbucks is on the first floor and the subway station is just below that. Perfectly convenient for people who like to get the day started with a coffee. Staff are nice, rooms are clean and especially cool. This is extremely satisfying in a month like August.

Horrible, hard bed, room not well cleaned, couldn't sleep, tiny old rooms, no where to put your suitcase or clothes, bathroom are like the one in campervans (tiny cubicles have to be flexible to fit in the bath), awful view of a wall, won't come back even if it's free. Should be a backpacker not a hotel. Only good side was location.

Very convenient location, right in the middle of town with most places of interest within or near walking distance though you might need to take public transportation to places further and the bus stop is in front of the hotel.Local foods and fast food restaurants are around too.Room size is alright for two persons as we're out most of the day but the bathroom/toilet is a bit small and cramped. We can overlook that as the friendly staff and convenient location makes up for it.I will definitely go back for my next visit.

Location was good, staff were able to communicate well in English. However, the room was overpriced (12,210 yen for a night) and both bedroom and bathroom were super compact. My boyfriend (6 ft 1) was not able to fit himself in it. The price we paid was not including breakfast. We did get a room with a window that overlooked another building (the side of the hotel). I had to take antihistamine because my nose was super runny - I had dust and mould allergy, I assume the room was dusty and mouldy.
