Really doubt all good reviews of this hotel was faked. Nobody mentioned that this hotel is really noise. After 11pm, there were 3 rounds motorcycles group drive around. I have left message that “please arrange a quiet room.” We received the room facing to the main roads direction, very disappointed about this hotel. Btw, the hotel is close to the Kyoto station, but it is hard to locate. Now, it is 11:54pm, another motorcycle was just passing…… totally can’t sleep.

Complicated and long check-in, the sheets did not smell good and it was impossible to contact reception. In addition, for those who really want to visit Kyoto, I do not recommend this position, because it is located opposite the tourist sites. Overall, good hotel, the rooms contain free treatments and bottled water as well as YouTube and other Apps on the TV.

advantage:1. The place where you live is right next to Kyoto Station, which is very convenient. There is an underground passage just outside the door, so it won't be too embarrassing if it rains.2. Living functions are good. There is a lawson next to it, a drug store and a pharmacy opposite, supermarkets and various stores in the underground passage, and even direct access to Avanti behind the station. Shopping malls are all available.3. One person per night is about the price of a youth hostel in Taiwan, but the room is actually very big, and it is not a problem for two people to spread out their large suitcases.4. The surroundings are quiet, except for the occasional sound of an ambulance passing by.shortcoming1. It will be slightly inconvenient if a woman is menstruating. There is only a small trash can in the whole room and there is no trash can in the toilet itself.2. Apartment-style hotels are not easy to contact when encountering problems. Even when communicating with non-Japanese speakers, the housekeeping staff will just repeat a long list of Japanese words and ignore our attempts to communicate in English and Japanese words.3. I don’t know whether it’s because of the recent rain or something else, but their pillows all smelled damp and stuffy, and their hair smelled like it when they slept. After two days, they found that they still had the same smell and gave up.4. The walls and floors are very thin. In the last two days, the tenants upstairs were walking very loudly. They still happened at 8 or 9 in the morning, after 10 in the evening, or until 2 or 3 in the morning. If I only care about the living functions and convenience, I would give it five stars, but if I stay in Kyoto next time, I will consider the rest.

It's in front of Kyoto Station, so transportation is convenient and the room condition is good. Japanese hotels are really small, but this one is spacious and luxurious. Highly recommended. However, I was confused because the entrance to the first floor of the hotel was closed despite the automatic check-in. They asked me to open it over the intercom. If this was my first time coming, I would be embarrassed. They went to both the lobby and the room with a password. You have to check in to find out, which is inconvenient, but the room is good value for money. I come to Kyoto often and have been to many places, but it was good value for money. I heard it was recently renewed. I don't know because I didn't eat breakfast.

New hotel steps away from Kyoto station. Bigger room than expected. Organic coffee n tea in the room great. Friendly reception service. Only downside is the misty smell of the bedsheets. Not sure if it’s too new or not washed properly.

Newly built/ renovated hotel! (Reviewing in May 2024) Hence probably why there’s barely any reviews online!

The only thing missing is the phone in the room. You need to go underground to call the staff. …

Brand new hotel Great service. Initially I was concerned that it was self check in. Reception promptly showed up to assist. Same when we returned for our left luggage 12hrs after we checked out. Night Staff was prompt in bringing all out luggage down to us. Photo shows just how central this hotel is located
