Unfortunately, the smell of the room is really awful, which makes it really overpriced for what it is. My husband is disappointed and so am I. For the rest, it's perfect

Stayed in this ryokan for a few days when we were in Kyoto and the location was nice. It was around a 15-minute walk to Kyoto station and the place was clean and quiet and price was cheap. I will stay here again next time I go back for sure!

Simple traditional accommodation. Location is OK and easy walk to station. Service was good and there's a private Onsen which we used. We had no problems and slept well enough. …

It's fine if you are looking for simple traditional accommodation. The staff is not very helpful and the rooms smell a bit musty. They vibrate too much from washing machines and from storing your luggage for a few hours.
