It was difficult to fit suitcases in hotels in Osaka, but even if you open both of them here, there is still room.Good facilities and locationThe only downside is that the wifi is a bit slow.

It is a 10 minute walk northeast from Kyoto Station. The inn has 8 rooms that look like a renovated Kyoto townhouse. The room is based on white and has a calm atmosphere. It's clean.Unlike hotels, the bath and toilet are separated (like an apartment bus), so you can take a leisurely bath. Amenities Clothes are located in front of the front desk. It's a calm inn.I didn't know about breakfast because I stayed without meals.

I traveled from Osaka to Kyoto in early September and stayed at Hachi inn for three days and two nights. The service staff were very kind. In addition, there happened to be Taiwanese service staff at the front desk. The overall check-in was very fast and efficient!A few reminders you may want to refer to before moving in:1. You need to take off your shoes when entering and put on the indoor shoes provided by the store.2. There is an elevator3. The way to enter and exit the hotel is to open the door directly. If you enter or exit in the middle of the night, you need to enter the password provided by the hotel to open the door.4. There are daily supplies next to the reception desk that you can pick up.5. Use traditional keys to enter and exit the room6. The 301 room we stayed in provided an oven, microwave and bathtub.7. It takes about 15 minutes to walk from the station, the road is flat, the nearby bus stop is about 5 minutes, and the supermarket is about 2 minutes away. All in all, highly recommended! The hotel is in a good location, very comfortable and reasonably priced. I will stay there again next time

A machiya-style inn (hotel) located north-northeast of Kyoto Station, two streets east of Karasuma Street and one street north of Shichijo, on the east side of Higashi Honganji Temple. Shoes are not allowed inside the building, but you can store them in the shoe rack at the entrance, and you will receive disposable slippers instead, which is good for hygiene. There is also a microwave in the room, so you can use it as a base for your trip. In addition, the bath has a washing area, so you can soak in the tub and slowly relieve your fatigue, so this alone is sure to make you come again. However, since Manomachi Street across the street connects Gojo to Shichijo, cars sometimes pass by during the night, so there is some road noise on the street side. If you are concerned, prepare earplugs etc.

A great little place not far from Kyoto station. Staff were very friendly and although had limited English, we used the translate app to get by. Bigger room that what I’ve previously had in Japan, with a shower room and good sized tub. On the top level there’s a private bath you can book for 50 minutes at a time, which is as close as I’ll get to an onsen due to having tattoos! Theyre happy to mind your luggage before and after check in/out if needed. A great place to stay as a solo visitor or a couple.

I stayed there for one night, but it was so spacious that I couldn't imagine from the outside, and it felt like I was renting the floor of a larger house. The room also has a closet and two sinks, making it suitable for long-term stays. It is fully equipped with facilities such as a refrigerator and toaster oven, and there are outlets on either side of the double bed, so you don't have to worry about charging problems. You can do it!Reservations are required for the private open-air bath, which costs an additional 1,000 yen, but I thought it would be small at first because it is vertical, but it was more comfortable than I expected and I would like to use it again.
