Beautiful hotel and wonderful staff! We really enjoyed staying there. We were offered the onsen as a bonus to our room. Unfortunately, we didn’t have time to use it.  …

Before my stay, I was a little uncomfortable with some issues regarding email responses and requests, but they promised to make improvements through communication, so I decided to visit.Impressions of the stay:We felt that the quality was appropriate for the brand. A very beautiful hotel with great attention to detail. The exquisite view, quiet location, and rooms with private hot spring baths are very appealing. The staff also responded politely to customer requests. Other than the initial unpleasant incident, it was a very good hotel and I would like to visit again.

Although it is far from Kyoto Station, it is worth it. Although the price is high, the quality of the hot water at Arashiyama Onsen, which is open-air in your room, will soothe you.The food is good and I come back again and again to reward myself for my hard work.

I stayed at Marriott Bonvoy. The location is great. Right near Togetsukyo Bridge. However, there are few restaurants nearby where you can have dinner.Check-in is at 3pm and you can enjoy champagne, wine and tea and sweets at the separate bar from 5pm to 7pm. Welcome champagne, right? The building is small.80% of the customers are foreigners. The room has a slightly peculiar smell.Breakfast is a little not so good, isn't it?You can choose between Western food and Japanese food.Appetizers include 5 kinds of juices (maybe too many), salad, fruits, small side dishes, and a Japanese set meal, but the portion before the Japanese set meal is too hearty, and by the time the Japanese set meal comes out, I'm full. That's a very good thing, but it takes a while for the main dish to come out, so I think it would be nice if it came out a little earlier. Also, I got the impression that most of the staff were inexperienced, and they didn't even see me off after paying. However, the location is excellent, so I will visit again.

The service where you will be picked up by a rickshaw from Arashiyama Station is quite fun and recommended. The gate and garden are Japanese-style, but the area from the reception to the back is a modern Japanese-style building. The rooms are also Western-style rooms with a Japanese feel (though there are some Japanese-style rooms as well). Although the open-air bath attached to the room was small, it was comfortable to soak in the soft hot spring water at any time. The service is courteous and you can enjoy a relaxing stay. The problem is the food, there is not much variety in the menu, and the contents are not worth the price. Does that mean we have to eat outside? (Actually, Kitcho main store is right nearby (lol))
