This is a guesthouse in Ohara, Kyoto. On Monday, November 21, 2020, my wife and I went into trouble. On that day, I was traveling from a hotel in Tomonoura, Fukuyama City, and took a detour to explore the Bikan Historical Quarter of Kurashiki City on the way, so by the time I arrived at the guesthouse, it was pitch black, and it was already 5:40pm (300km). Ta.The hostess of the inn warmly said, ``Let's have dinner after taking a bath♪'', which I was grateful for!The room was a Japanese-style room at the back. I apologize for the inconvenience caused as I had to call an electrician due to my mistake in operating the air conditioner. It was great to be able to stretch my legs in the big bath and get rid of the fatigue, and for dinner I had a warm miso pot and ``Eikun'' from Fushimi's Saito Sake Brewery and it was delicious! The next morning, Ohara's Satoyama was covered in morning mist.

It is run by a friendly couple. The rooms, dining room, washrooms, and toilets are clean. Two people can take a bath. The miso-based hotpot is delicious. Breakfast is also plentiful. You can bring your own alcohol and purchase alcohol at a nearby convenience store. With nationwide regional discounts and Kyoto support coupons, one night and two meals is about 1,200 yen! I drink too much beer though.

The owner of the B&B is warm and kind, the food is delicious, the room is very clean, and the price is not expensive. I was vaguely worried about the two old people and the profit was meager. Because I stored the car while hiking and came back to pick it up in the evening, our used sheets, quilts, bathrobes and even bathrobe straps were washed and dried in the sunset. I feel ashamed that I wasted so many resources. Warm and trustworthy owner, thank you. I will stay here again next time I pass through Ohara😊🙏🙏
