I think its great for 1 night, two max. Its very small rooms (private ones)So with the decoration inside the room and the cramped feeling it feels sort of like a prison. The staff were incredibly friendly and you cannot fault that! There could be some new decorations or fresh paintwork to make the rooms seem more open. The wifi was incredibly slow.Its very close to Kyoto station so I recommend if you are only staying 1/2 nights and don’t need a lot of space then this is fine

Close to the station but very far from everything else. At night there is not much where to go. The rooms are good but it is uncomfortable to have to go down to the basement and have to put a code on the door to enter the shower area.

This is an addition after receiving a reply from the facility.I made a reservation through a different reservation site than the one mentioned, but the site informed me that it had been canceled due to overbooking. On the other hand, although this service allows the facility to contact users, there was no communication or apology from the facility.That's all for my facts. It is true that there were miscommunications with the reservation site and equipment malfunctions. Well, I wouldn't have known about it if I hadn't posted it here, so I didn't receive an apology. I have corrected the score.==================I made a reservation two and a half months in advance because I was using the hotel during the high season, but I received a call two days before saying that it was overbooked and had to be canceled. I'm not sure if it was overbooked at the time of my reservation, or if they raised the price after my reservation and made multiple reservations to get a cheaper reservation, but I think it's a "managed accommodation facility that tends to overbook." There is no doubt about it.

In the twin room, except for the bunk beds, there is a floor that you can walk on with your shoes.I wanted a stand to put my bag and accessories on.The shower and toilet are smaller than normal, so it might be difficult for larger people, but I think it's cheap and good for people who are near the station and just need to sleep.

From my experience of staying for 10 days, first of all, the staff are very friendly. Also, the bedding is very clean and a washer and dryer are provided. However, since it is a space shared by several people, it does smell a bit. And I think the downside is that it's located near Kyoto Station, so it's a bit far from the center of Kyoto. But I think it's a really good hotel in this price range.

It's a decent hostel. Since Japan is generally clean, it is also clean here. The first floor lobby has a spacious common area and a TV, so you can stay comfortably. The downside is that the shower facilities are located only in the basement. Instead, towels were provided free of charge once, which was a good benefit. It's about a 10-minute walk from Kyoto Station, and there's a convenience store nearby, so it's great to buy a beer at night. Although it is far from major tourist attractions, it is a good option if you are planning to travel around Kyoto Station. I also started from here and traveled to Fushimi Inari and Uji City.

This is my Go to hostel in Kyoto! Near in the main kyoto station and just beside the aeon mall which is very helpful for shoppaholics😊.. The room is fine with a privacy feels even though its a hostel. Staff were attentive at all times and tries to help when needed..

You will be able to create a wonderful trip to Kyoto using this as your base. The location is very convenient as it is close to Kyoto Station, AEON, and convenience stores.It's a new building and has been well-maintained, so it's very clean and comfortable.The common spaces were often used, perhaps because the staff was keeping an eye on them, but they were clean.

Because the original accommodation was expensive, I had to move here to stay for 2 days. The price is fair, check-in will only give you one towel to use (no toiletries are provided), and you will have to pay for additional towels. The capsule environment is clean enough. There is a locker at the bedside. The capsule has space to store suitcases (it is not recommended to carry luggage). There is a shower and laundry in the basement. Check out and store your luggage at the reception desk (there may not be staff to see it), in the Friendship Hall on the first floor. There is a large Aeon shopping mall opposite, and it takes about 10 minutes to walk to Kyoto Station.

6/13-6/20 Double roomDue to the flight delay, and my first self-service experience... It was already past 11 o'clock when I arrived at the hotel. The girl at the counter was very nice and kind when I checked in. She explained accommodation matters in Chinese and English and was very patient. You need to swipe your room card to take the elevator upstairs. It has an extra layer of protection. The room is very clean and tidy/very new. The only drawback is that the space is a bit small and the charging plug is sufficient. The bed/quilt/pillows are all very comfortable.The bathroom in the basement is also clean and tidy. The international brand hair dryer is very good, and there is also a washing machine/dryer, which is great.Common area/kitchen on the 1st floor...It looks pretty good. It’s lively every day.-- I go out early every day, and when I come back in the evening, I go straight into the room - I'm so tired that I don't want to move - so I haven't used it yet, hahaOn the seventh day, I discovered that boiling water was provided in the leisure area.A few days ago, I was selling vending machines. Ha. The drinks I drank during my 8 days in Japan could last in Taiwan for several months. Rooms are fairly small, but they are quite convenient. I stayed in a bunk bed room and they had a swivel light and USB charging slot each. 10 minute walk from Kyoto station, and there's a bus stop that takes you to the gion area about a minute down the road. Staff are really friendly and the place had great vibes, when I arrived there was a 'make your own takoyaki' party and it seemed like a cool place to meet other travellers. Definitely recommend if you'd like to socialise with other travellers and if you're not too bothered about your room.
