Very good hotel, close to various transport links. 4 minutes from a bus stop and 20 minutes on foot to Kyoto station. The rooms are spacious and clean. The bedding is of good quality. The hotel even offers small amenities like razors, slippers, hairbrushes or facial sponges. The air conditioning was also easy to adjust as desired. It was a good stay.

Affordable accommodation in Kyoto, close to the bus and trains and some nice restaurants. Beds are horrifically hard (pillows are nice). You only get one towel for the entire stay and it's so thin. I can see all the stock behind the main desk window and there are so many towels there - just one more would have been nice.Appears staffless but easy to get your key.I appreciated that the room has a washing machine and a rack to hang the clothes on.Walls are thin. Could hear other people snoring/talking.Room is spacious. Again, beds are HARD! My back is killing me now!An average stay, probably won't book again. Also make sure to go the right location, I initially went to the wrong one, a 25 min walk away

Self check-in is very simple. You can't leave your suitcases, nor is there anyone to leave them with. We had a small problem when we entered because they told us that we could enter from 3:00 p.m. and when we arrived at the room they were cleaning it and they told us that check-in was at 4:00 p.m., but they cleaned the room quickly and let us in. In the room there is a microwave, utensils and a washing machine. In the bathroom there is shampoo, gel and conditioner. There is a station nearby.

We payed in advance and we couldn’t check in, no front desk, the response was zero from the hotel. Awful please stay somewhere else and don’t go through the trouble of being in a staff free place.

Best hotel I’ve been so far in Japan! The room is spacious, there is a small kitchen, microwave and fridge… and its own washing machine! The checkin and checkout process are smooth (no reception at all), and the location is 5 minutes from a metro station and 20 minutes walking from the main Kyoto station.Perfect!

Although it is a hotel, it is built like a one-room apartment. There is no front desk, the key locks automatically, the kitchen has one electric stove, a two-door refrigerator, and a microwave, and the bathroom and toilet are separate. The interior is for daily use, so it is comfortable and has plenty of sunlight.

Bad pointsThere was no remote control for the air conditionerThere was no hair dryerEven if you stay for multiple nights, you will only receive one towel. The response from the management is unreliable (one point to check with the person in charge)When I entered the room, the door to the room was unlocked and the window was open, giving me a sense of distrust. There is no manager at the hotel and the response time is very slow.In the end, I didn't feel comfortable staying at the hotel, so I hurriedly changed to another hotel, but even though it was their fault, they still charged me a cancellation fee.Unless you absolutely have a reason not to choose this hotel, we recommend using another nearby hotel. It seems that the management company has changed recently, and I think that the good reviews on the reservation site are either 1) from before the management company change, 2) from people who were lucky enough to have no problems with the room, or 3) Sakura.
