Beautiful Japanese traditional room and overall it is comfortable. However, there is no private restroom and no private shower, the noise cancelation is not too good.

I rented a bicycle for 500 yen a day.The tire was extremely old and had deteriorated, and the tube came out from the side.I had it fitted at a bicycle shop in Ichijoji, but it was a model that was over 20 years old. I should get a new carThe breakfast, kitchen, bathtub and common spaces were very attentive and nice. There is also a tasteTwo public baths, a Monpan restaurant, and a takoyaki restaurant are also a must. The chain lock entrance key is a hassle.

Thank you for staying with us for two nights while taking the Kyoto University entrance exam. This was my first experience at a guest house, and I had to share the toilet and bath, but the toilet was always clean and comfortable. There were several groups of similar students staying there, but most of them were boys, and I was a girl, so I guess they were reluctant to use the shared bathroom and toilet. So I went to a nearby public bath to take a bath. However, the location was within walking distance of Kyoto University, so I was able to take the exam with peace of mind, so it was a good thing.

I stayed with my family of four. The children are in the first grade of elementary school and in kindergarten. In my previous trips, I had been enjoying some private time with my family at tourist spots.I was very satisfied because I was able to have a different accommodation experience than usual, such as talking with the guests, experiencing the public bath, and living there. The breakfast bread was also very delicious (a hearty bagel and fluffy bread)) The children also looked very happy. The restaurant recommended by the owner was also very delicious.Cleanliness was felt in every corner of the inn.You can take a walk to see Kyoto University and see cherry blossoms along the Kamogawa River.I think it's a very good location.I would love to use you again.

Boarding house experience in Kyoto? You can experience a traditional house that is over 100 years old. The bathroom and toilet are shared, which is a bit inconvenient, but it has a vintage feel. The accommodation we stayed in was on the second floor, but the stairs were steep, so it was a bit difficult to go to the bathroom while sleeping. The neighborhood was quiet and the nearby tavern and croquette restaurant were delicious.

Very welcoming and kind staff. The room is large and secure. Common areas are clean and practical. There is homemade umeshu available, which adds a little extra especially since it is very good! The location is great for visiting the eastern part of Kyoto. I highly recommend!
