This place is just exceptional. The apartment looks very new, and the intetior is as stunning as in the pictures. The area is litterally 5 minutes away from bustling Gion, located by a quiet river with only residential homes. It is like a little paradise away from the crowds but still very central. The atmosphere inside is quiet and the place is clean and has all the amenities you might need. We would definitely recommend it!

There is a lot of dust all over the place, and if you put things on the floor or lie down, the dust will stick to it. The room was very unsanitary. I also heard that the breakfast was an egg sandwich, but it was a handmade sandwich, and although it contained multiple types, all of them were seasoned with mayonnaise. It was a reasonable price, so I'm even more disappointed.

Especially the bath was terrible. You can't take a bath and the water doesn't come out unless you let it sit for an hour. The inn itself is beautiful, but I didn't think it was worth staying at this price when the bath that was sold was barely usable. There's no hot water. I had stored hot water with the intention of using it between check-in and dinner on the day of my stay, but the water had to be stored for 60 minutes before I could turn it on, and the water had switched to cold while I was filling it. I gave up and tried to take a shower, but only cold water came out.I tried again the next morning, but the same problem occurred, so I called the front desk. After checking with the gas supplier, it was discovered that hot water could only be used continuously for up to 30 minutes. So, I was told to take the following steps: turn on the hot water for 30 minutes, let the water heater rest for 15 minutes, then turn on the hot water for 30 minutes. At this point, the structure is not established.I was able to use it according to the instructions, but since it wasn't announced in the first place and I couldn't keep up with the hot water during my trip, I felt like I wasted a lot of time. Also, although it is called an open-air bath, it does not feel like an open-air bath because it is adjacent to a private house and you can only see a garden that is less than 1 tatami mat in size. If you open the partition, you can see it from next door.・Many home appliances are new and good.- Good location in front of the river・The receptionist's response was polite.·coldIt may be unavoidable since it's an old house, but even with the heating on, it was still cold.・Bath problem・Full view from the outside. If you open the curtains, you can see the entire view.・The futon is thin. My body hurts.

It was good thoughThe toothbrush was cheap and hard. The heating equipment in the dressing room was fancy but small and had no effect at all.I thought it would be too cold to use in the middle of winter. Also, on the day of check-in, while sightseeingThey kept reminding me to check in over and over again. For some reason, I was not notified, so I couldn't get back to you.I received a further reminder call💦I'm here as a tourist, so I'm not a local.I don't know how crowded it is or how far away it is.I had no idea when I would arrive because I was having fun with my plans for the day.During my precious sightseeing, I was asked to check in many times. Moreover, I felt uncomfortable with the confusing answers.I go sightseeing all year round. At least one contact at the hotelIf you have a reservation for your arrival time, you won't be inconvenienced. This also creates pressureWould it be better to stay elsewhere?

I stayed with a friend. The whole building was reserved for us, so we were able to stay without any hesitation and enjoy a slightly luxurious feeling. The river was flowing in front of us, and the morning view was very refreshing and the atmosphere was great! I really liked the interior, which had a taste that matched the atmosphere of Kyoto. It's close to tourist spots, so I'd like to use it again if I have a chance.

This is a rental inn in a 115-year-old old Kyoto Nagaya house. I was able to spend a relaxing time in the room, which was filled with works by Kyoto artists, including textile designs by Nishijin-ori HOSOO.The location is very close to Chion-in Temple and within walking distance of Gion and Pontocho, so you can take a leisurely stroll after checking in.simple is best. Therefore, I thought that this place is suitable for those who want to live independently in Kyoto rather than providing full service. At check-in time, the person who attended me was waiting for me in Japanese attire, which gave me an unusual feeling and made me excited. It might be more suitable for relaxing with your lover than going out with your family.
