I went to drop off my luggage first, but the guy who showed me around had no expression on his face and spoke quickly. The advantage is that the rooms are private. However, there are two small electric lanterns in my room, but there is dust on their frames, and the forks and spoons in the common area on the first floor are covered in dust, and even the lowest parts have not been cleaned properly. It was a pity that there wasn't one. There are no problems with the bedding. However, the duvet cover seemed like it had been used and reused.I found out later that ❝Uncle❞ was the owner. (It seems like he is doing everything by himself.)7

It was a reasonably priced stay, and the bed was relatively comfortable.I started coughing because the room was dusty, so I opened the window to ventilate the room, and I cleaned the light next to the bed because it was covered in dust.It was nice that the surroundings were quiet.

This property is definitely not for everyone. The stairs to the bedrooms are VERY steep and going up and down to use the bathroom which is located on the first floor is problematic--particularly in the middle of the night. …

Fantastic location, clean and comfortable beds. The shower room is on a different floor to the bedrooms but there is a bathroom on the same floor.

This guesthouse is in a great location, being only a 5 minute walk from Yasaka Shrine and Gion.Although it is near the downtown area, it was surprisingly quiet at night. It's a renovated old folk house, so it's perfect for overnight stays. The room is locked with a push button. There is no toilet in the room, so please use the communal toilet on the first or second floor, and use the shower room on the first floor for washing. The bedding is a futon. There is a mattress under the futon, so you can sleep comfortably on the tatami, and you won't have to worry about your back hurting. When I visited the guesthouse, I didn't see any cats.

Don't stay here. The room had a strange smell, so I literally slept with a mask 😷 on. Do not stay here. I'm sorry for the owner, but I have to speak the truth.
