the room was new and great, large enough to store two medium-large suitcases. they also provide utensils, kitchen wares in case you want to cook for yourself. it was clean, the area was quiet at night and you can easily access to Gion and Hanamikoji by walking in a few minutes. the nearest station is about 800m away. overall a steal deal for its price.however, it's incredibly confusing since the reception is not in the hotel itself, but rather 10-15mins by car. i didn't know this when i booked the room, so the check-in process was a bit chaotic for me. they do provide shuttle bus service from the reception to the hotel, so plus point to that. i asked the guy at the hotel if he could call us a taxi, he bluntly said no, and told us to download some app for it. i do not have a japanese phone number to register the app due to travelling, hence why i asked him to do it ^^the lady with black, short bob hair who greeted me and explained everything about the stay at the reception did not made me feel welcomed at all, so until my leave, i did not have a good impression of the staffs.

The rooms are large enough and there are items that you can meet your needs (hair dryer, pot, stove, etc.). You can use the washing machine for 400 yen and the dryer for 100 yen. The only downside of the hotel is that you need an attendant to open the entrance door in the first place. However, since working hours end at 20:00, you may experience problems when you arrive after 20:00. My advice is to contact the hotel by e-mail or phone if you are going to be late. After check-in, you can open the doors with the passwords given to you. Unfortunately, there is no metro to reach the hotel, you have to take a bus.
