Apartment with hair everywhere, a bathroom that was very uncomfortable and too small (to shower we had to open the curtains because we couldn't get in), the mattress had stains and was also very uncomfortable. We slept badly because of the noise from the street, and it is a quiet neighborhood, but you could hear any movement.

Book on Airbnb.A facility called an aparthotel, which is common these days.The facilities inside are really simple, but it's close to major facilities such as the 21st Century Museum of Contemporary Art and Kenrokuen Garden, so I think it's a great base for sightseeing in Kanazawa.

Great Central location. The apartment is cute and well maintained. The bathroom is VERY small and I'm a very small person. I don't think anyone over 5'3" would fit. I just don't like how some of the windows are frosted so you can't see out but it's not horrible. The apartment was a little dusty but I think it just needed an airing out. Futons were comfy and they had real pillows and very plush toilet paper which is rare in Japan. It's a great location so I would stay here again!

Super nice host!! He was very helpful and responded super quick. Note there isn't an elevator. There are rental bikes available. Simple, but clean.
