I used to work part-time,It felt like it was run by the Fujitani family, so I didn't think it was a very open workplace.I could see the high-pressure side of both the president and the landlady. However, the only difference was the old lady who was the elder member of the Fujitani clan. She was a very gentle person and gave me kind guidance. He had already been retired from the first line.Grandma, please stay healthy and live long.

From a stranger visiting Kyoto and Kifune Jinja you need to know it's difficult to speak english but not impossible, the staff make the effort to use translators. The location of the Ryokan is great, near the River you can eat on top of it and it's beautiful, but if you take the bedroom with view on it don't expect to see it you will only see the roof above it..For the room it's traditionnal way you will sleep on futon bed and be in Yukata (Just a shame there was so little information for the room or how to dress properly) Don't forget to bring a night mask if you don't want the sun in your face at 5am.The shower have not much of intamicy once you're out there is no door just a little fence where people from corridor can see you..The food was great but careful the drinks are not part of the menu you will have to pay afterwards..A bit expensive for the experience the room was not so great more like a simple bedroom of a traditionnal house and the futon were not confortable especially if you're tall or a bit strong but the dinner and breakfast on the river was cool but not worth the price. For a luxury hotel i've had better expérience if you want to eat on the river you can go to a restaurant much cheaper and have the same view but it's not a gastronomique meal.

I went to Kibune Shrine. After all, it's a river bed in summer. It was my first time there, and it was cool and nice.I think it's best not to expect too much from the food.It was normal. But it was nice to be able to taste Kawadoko at least once.

[Good points]The owner will provide round-trip transportation from the nearest station,They were very polite when we saw them off, and they also carefully explained the business hours of Kibune Shrine in front of us. Yukata and other items are also available for rent. The cooked beans and rice were delicious.[Bad points]The waitress who brought the food to the riverbed had hurt her leg, and I felt bad as she kept dragging her feet in pain. My worries about the waiter outweighed the taste of the rice and the comfort of the riverbed, and I felt a strange sense of guilt every time the food was brought to me. .I think it can't be helped since it's an old wooden building, but the walls in the room are so thin that you can hear the people next door, and it's normal to think that you can hear them as well. I couldn't speak aloud. The shared toilet was very small and not clean. It's good to be surrounded by nature, but there were too many insects invading the room. It's not cheap at all, so I wish they would do more about the environment and hygiene. The rice was delicious.
